My Daughter Priscilla has been going to Ascend Martial Arts for 2 year’s now and it’s been a truly amazing experience. Master Cancino and his staff are exceptional, and highly qualified. They truly care about your kids growth. Ever since my daughter started going to Ascend her school grades! Improved, her attitude Improved, and her self confidence. Ascend teaches so many great things not just martial arts. They also focus on building strong character. They teach about life lessons, confidence, discipline, respect, morals, humility, accountability, teamwork and so many more great things it’s such a positive atmosphere. I highly recommend Ascend martial Arts to anyone in the Reno/Sparks area.

My daughter has been attending Ascend for a year and has enjoyed the experience immensely. She consistently looks forward to her classes and has developed significantly as an individual over the past year. Beyond improving her physical strength and self-defense skills, she is taught discipline and respect. This has led to notable improvements in her behavior both at home and at school. The instructors, including Mrs. Cha-Ca, Ms. Cancino, and Mr. McGuffey, demonstrate great dedication to ensuring each student masters the necessary forms. They are always willing to provide additional assistance to my daughter after class when she wants to work on a specific skill. It is incredibly rewarding to see the pride she feels upon achieving rank advancements or being selected to demonstrate a skill in front of the class. I can’t wait to see what she’ll learn next and to see her become a black belt in the future. I would highly recommend Ascend to anyone interested in learning martial arts.
I have fours kids ages 12-15 enrolled and saw an increase in confidence, respect, strength, focus, and overall athleticism within the first few months. The staff is dedicated and works well with new students to help them feel comfortable and confident. Very grateful for this place, love watching my kids learn and grow.
We have been going to Ascend Martial Arts for almost two years and love it. All the coaches have made such a change in our daughter for the better. They are very patient, always willing to help where ever they can and the coaches are always encouraging her to try new things and be a better person. Im so glad we found their ad two years ago for 5 classes, it has turned into an amazing experience and a second family to our daughter. We love going here.
