Great experience with ARS. I have a flat roof from the 60s and they had been keeping me dry with occasional patches, but I wanted to install solar, so it was time to replace it. ARS put on a layer of insulation (R-16) and the new TPO roof Mark Rutherford did a fantastic job of customizing and communicating changes in the schedule and eventually fit me in early because of a cancellation Great worksmanship and really great staff. Mark Rutherford is fantastic. Recommend them highly.
I received excellent service from Atlanta Roofing Specialist! From the initial meetings with David Bishop and Dan Albrecht, I knew my projects were in good hands. They were both personable, but professional. They both had a wealth of expertise and knowlege about roofing, gutters, and siding. I was very impressed with how David went on my roof to measure and Dan measured everything by hand for my siding. I liked how they did things "the old fashioned way". The workers were friendly and very efficient as well. The roofers did an excellent job hand nailing the shingles. The construction team for the siding did a superb job as well. The roofers and construction team both left my property neat and cleaned up debris and disposed of it each day. I highly recommend Atlanta Roofing Specialists for your home improvement projects.
I received lots of estimates from roofing companies. I did my research. I chose Atlanta Roofing Specialists to tear off and replace a BitMod roof in a neighborhood with mid-century modern homes. They also installed 3 new skylights with motorized shades and new gutters/guards. They replaced the damaged tongue and groove boards as well. Best decision I made. My salesman, David was awesome. Communicated everything with me. The job foreman, Sonny was amazing and communicated with me throughout all work that was done. The girls in the office were the best. This company works like a WELL OILED MACHINE. I was kept informed by everyone through the construction process. Communication was excellent. I HIGHLY recommend this roofing company.
Most recently, I was looking to get pricing for my open air garage. At first, I had no intentions of getting the job done. I simply wanted to get an idea of what it might cost. The first two quotes were high, and no one came out to review the garage. Atlanta Roofing Specialist sent out David. He is a 30 year veteran in this type of work. David was easy to get along with. In other words, he started a relationship, and that's how sales should be. He also gave me a much lower price. I decided to move forward and I couldn't be happier. I would highly recommend Atlanta Roofing Specialist.
Overall great experience with ARS on the re-roof of my 17-year old previous roof. Two key reasons: Brad King and crew lead Tereso. Brad very helpful on front end of project making sure the level of detail I sought (& I am unashamedly a detail oriented guy) was both in the contract and most importantly on the roof. Things like re-decking to cover up 7 plumbing vent penetrations that were no longer needed due to re-routing of venting underneath the roof, completely replacing 4" and 5" B-vent flashing, adding a high flow dryer vent, dealing with my flippable 5" K-gutters by making custom T-flashing that projected the shingles slightly more over the gutters, replacing OSB decking that was soft, damaged, or had holes from previous vent penetrations. Brad showed up first morning of job to go over scope with the crew lead, Tereso, who was awesome. With only four men, it took 3 full days to do the job. This was not a bug, but a feature. They didn't rush. They fixed things that needed to be fixed (decking in particular). One piece of decking Tereso replaced because it "didn't feel right" (too soft), another because it left a gap at the edge. Tereso even used dimensional lumber to reinforce under the deck to provide better support for deck. They hand nailed everything. Tereso was always very diligent about getting details correct. Superpower was his ability (as well as other crew members) to use a metal brake and fabricate very precisely any drip edging (both Z and T type flashing) as well as diverters and step flashing that was needed. This of course took time, but the results were excellent as the photos can attest. Highly recommend ARS for the level of detail that they provided.
