Aura is 5/5 stars and 10/10 every time. The salon is clean, modern and spacious. It’s cozy and comfortable. I truly can’t think of one word that describes it accurately enough. It feels like hanging at your besties house when you walk in. There’s coke in the fridge in the waiting area, and a coffee bar. The interior design is aesthetically pleasing. The seating is comfortable, even for my plus size self. Jen at Aura has been my mom and I’s “hairapist” for a longggg time. She’s gotten my hair through bangs, no bangs, the grow out phase, the chop phase and everything in between. We’ve done natural colors and even “Sunset” and Candy Cane colors. I brought my boyfriend to meet her, and then he became my husband. And eventually I’ll be asking if she’ll give my toddler his first hair cut. Jessica at the salon also has permed my hair. She was also kind and welcoming, and my perm still looks fabulous. I’ve always left happy with my hair and feeling revived. If you’re looking for “The Salon”. THIS IS IT. You can stop looking!!
Jennifer Miller has been doing my hair since before she opened Aura Beauty Lounge. She is great at taking the inspiration picture and recreating that color and cut on my hair. Jen did an excellent job at helping me find the right shade of red for my hair so my wedding photos in Jamaica looked amazing. She and Liz have created a wonderful salon. The pricing is always good and fair.
The most beautiful and cozy salon in Fort Wayne! Beautifully decorated and they have plants! Everyone is so kind and Liz will take good care of you!! Always love visiting Aura!!
Jennifer Miller was the one and only hair stylist that could ever cut my thick, curly hair! I enjoyed seeing her and she is quite talented with hair. I only gave 3 stars because she will no longer respond to my texts or phone calls. I've been ghosted and unclear why. Disappointed to say the least.
I went to the Aura Beauty Lounge and worked with Liz and all I can say is WOW! She was so kind, so informative, and so helpful! I have curly hair and have always tried to figure it out and she knew EXACTLY how to cut my hair to tame my wild curls! I went in with flat and lifeless curls, and very greying hair and she helped me find the curls that been hiding all along! Also, somehow Liz was able to work some hair magic and my greys have seemed to disappear with no coloring! My boss thought that I had gotten my hair colored and I told her I just got it cut and that was it! I think it was just Liz magic!
