I've had many Thai massages so I'm very aware of what to expect. This was not a traditional Thai massage. It vaguely resembled a Thai massage but the lady I had hurriedly jammed her elbows into my back knots, rubbed hot towels on me, and in the end did that hand clapping thing on the back that doesnt really do anything. Thai massage incorporates a lot of stretching and motion. Perhaps they thought I wouldn't know better? I'm fairly certain the lady I had wasn't a trained massage therapist. At one point she was rubbing my thigh bones and my hip bones really hard, completely missing the muscles. At another point she was rubbing my ramus so hard I heard a pop and thought she may have hurt something. I checked the box for back walking but that never happened. About 1/3 of the way through I asked "is this your traditional Thai massage?" She confirmed it was. What I got was random rushed elbow jabbing that was done unevenly on each side. And, to top it off, the areas I circled on the chart barely got touched and Im no more loose than when I went in, probably less so. It was a waste of time and money.
I had the best massage of my life by Nam. I have had massages at some of the best spas all around the world from Dubai, London to saint barths and this is by far the best. Would HIGHLY recommend.
I’ve never had a Thai massage and 1000% recommend. It may not be the most relaxing massage but I left feeling absolutely amazing. So loose and limber! Will 100% be back.
I was visiting AZ for the first time this past weekend and wanted a massage while on vacation and I found out about this company through social media. I booked an appt with Nam based on reviews. This was the best massage I've ever had and 1st Thai/Swedish massage. She applied the right amount of pressure and stretched me so good and I agreed for her to walk on my back (1st time) and it was amazing. Randy checked me in and he was very friendly and personable. I'd definitely come back to this place if I visit Scottsdale, AZ again. Thanks, from Houston native.
I’ve had massages all over the world, but nothing nothing compares to the Thai massage I received from Cindy. It wasn’t just a massage. It was a complete reset of my nervous system, circulation, and spirit. I arrived for my session feeling heavy, foggy, and honestly, disconnected from my body. I’d been under a lot of emotional stress and could feel that something was off like my blood was just… stuck. My energy was low, my back was aching, and I hadn’t felt truly relaxed in months. From the moment Cindy welcomed me, I sensed I was in gifted hands. She listened with genuine care and suggested a customized blend of deep tissue, Thai and Swedish techniques with hot stones. I specifically asked for help around my kidney meridian after reading about how it relates to fear, fatigue, and vitality in traditional Chinese medicine. I had no idea how much I needed this until her hands started working. Cindy’s technique was both intuitive and deeply skilled. She blended traditional Thai stretches with focused pressure that moved energy in a way I’ve never felt before. She didn’t just follow a routine she read my body. She found places of deep stagnation, especially along my lower back and legs, and used hot stones in a way that felt like she was melting years of tension out of me. When she focused on the kidney meridian, it was like something released inside me subtle but undeniable shift. My breath deepened. My body softened. I felt warmth return to my extremities, and the internal fog I had been walking around with started to lift. By the end of the session, I was so deeply relaxed that I physically couldn’t drive. I sat in my car for 20 minutes, not because I was tired, but because I felt blissfully emptied out and reborn. The way my blood felt afterward like it was actually circulating again is hard to describe unless you’ve experienced stagnation and had it cleared. This wasn’t a spa massage. This was healing work. Cindy is not just a massage therapist she is a bodyworker, an energetic guide, and someone who understands the relationship between muscles, emotions, and meridians. Her work helped me feel alive again more than I have in a long time. If you’re burnt out, stuck, or just craving a massage that actually goes deep not just physically, but energetically go see Cindy. Opt for the deep tissue with Thai and Swedish fusion. Let her work on your meridians. Let yourself be held. And give yourself time afterward not just to recover, but to soak in what just happened. I promise, it’s that good.
