Not something I normally do but had to share what an absolute shambles of an organisation Auto Body & Paint are and I would advise anyone thinking of using them to think twice about doing so! Took my car (BMW X3) for quote at beginning of Dec-25 and they contacted me to say their quote was approved by Insurance company and booked my car in for repair on 16 Jan 2026. After having my car for 11 days, they contacted me on Tues 27 Jan 2026, I was left a voicemail from them stating that despite them having the approval for over a month that they have now just noticed that the hourly rate approved by the insurance company (via independent assessor) was significantly less than they were charging and for me to come and collect my car as they were not repairing it now. After collecting my car this morning, I was told that the insurance company approved $90 per hour for labour and they had requested $135 per hour but insurance company have told me they were charging $190 per hour. Completely left in the lurch by them and their greed.
Avoid this company at all cost. Still waiting to finalise my repairs which have taken since Sept 25. They try to finalise the repairs and invoice by the end of Dec 25 with only 95% of the work completed. Arrange on two occasions to come back to complete the works, only to be told when I arrived that they didnt have a loan car for me. They could of easily pick up the phone to advise me the day before. Poor performance, poor customer service and poor attention to detail.
Absolute crooks. I was going to take them to the Small Claims Tribunal but between them and the Insurance company both blaming each other it became more than difficult. These guys repaired the wrong dent in my vehicle which cost me my Insurance excess, half fixed the real issue that I wanted repaired and then refused to finish it, telling me to lodge another Insurance claim.. which was another $500. Avoid like the plague!
Very happy with their services Thoroughly good job in repairing my Mini Cabrio. Thanks everyone especially the young lady who explain to me about the repair from the start to the end.
Auto Body and Paint repainted my 1998 Toyota Landcruiser 100 series. The car now looks like new again. They are extremely professional and good value as well. Chris Maunick was really informative and helpful, sending me photos of the strip down and painting along the way. Highly recommend this business.
