Autotrophic was such a great experience. Everyone I worked with was so pleasant and helpful. They provided everything and anything I needed to make all my decisions with how to proceed with my car. The work was impeccable and they explained everything not only in detail but were transparent about everything which I appreciated. Can’t recommend them and the experience enough!
I took my vehicle in needing a full inspection of the suspension and fuel system. They did an excellent job giving the whole car the inspection it needed and we took care of the outstanding items accordingly. As well as finding some other things that were equally as important that we took care of. But it wasn't hard selling or pushy. Just a clear list of what was found and what should be taken care of. The work was done efficiently, the communication was ongoing and direct, and they had me on my way as soon as they could and that was even on a week with a holiday. The pricing was fair and there was an extremely clear detail of line items for the work being done, broken down in a way that made it very flexible for what you could accept and decline. For someone that does a lot of work themselves, going out on a limb to find a mechanic shop that I can trust always feels like a potential risk. I'm very happy that I took the chance with Auto Tek and will definitely trust my car with them for anything I need done.
I’ve been going to AutoTek for over 10 years now, ever since a Honda dealership gave me a $3–4K estimate and AutoTek did only the necessary work for about half the price. They were honest then about what didn’t actually need to be replaced, and they’ve been just as straightforward ever since. This is the third car I’ve brought to them, and they’ve always been reasonably priced, clear in their communication, and never “find” extra things to fix like so many other shops and dealerships do. I trust them completely with my car.
I am so happy I found AutoTek and the wonderful people who work there!! I needed my car looked over before going on a cross country road trip and they performed a 60+ point inspection. They were prompt with diagnosing my car. I did not expect them to start servicing my car same day since I had only scheduled for the inspection. I was totally prepared to make another appointment to get all the repairs done, but they started same day!! I really like their online system: it breaks things down into highest priority which makes it so much easier on the customer. There were even customized notes about brake pad thickness etc. They provide images of your vehicle and even offer external videos explaining why it might be important to get certain repairs done. I could easily accept or decline any of their recommended services. There was absolutely no pressure!! I even called and spoke to my actual technician (Zach) becuase I had additional questions and he was honest and thorough. I appreciate when I'm not hounded to complete every service all at once. He told me the things I absolutely needed to get done before I drive my car cross country, then told me the things I can wait on. He was very quick to send me over quotes. I thought their pricing on parts and labor were extremely reasonable! It was so easy looking over their reports/quotes/navigating their online system. I greatly appreciciate their thoroughness. It was even easy to pick my car up after hours. You will not find me going back to the dealership for my future car needs. AutoTek has definitely earned my business in the future! And for a girl in her 20's.. this has been the most stress free process ever. I cant say enough wonderful things about my experience!!
I highly recommend. My car undercarriage was damaged from a road hazard which made it immobile. At first contact with Auto Tek on the phone they were professional and transparent. It was convenient for me that they’re a AAA partnered business, so towing my car to their shop was seamless. Their electronic maintenance tracking and approval system is awesome. No pressure from the mechanics to accept recommendations. They tell it how it is and you can make your own decisions based on the thorough information they provide.
