Me and my partner did the archery for their birthday last year. Titania was very helpful and even played with us, beating both of us unfortunately lmao. Overall it was pretty fun.

I've done ax throwing before and never had problems getting my axes stick in the wood. Maybe their target wood was ultra hard and I'm used to with playing with soft wood. I don't know what the issue was. My axes just weren't sticking. The AC in this place was not working. There was no fan so it was ultra hot and humid in there. I paid for an hour and I just was not having fun so we left after playing for about 25 minutes. If ax throwing is your thing I would recommend a different place other than this location. I was hoping to have a good time and it was honestly just a letdown. 6/29/2025 update due to the response from the owner. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yes I received an email and this is what the email said "Hi, We were very unhappy to see that you did not have a good time. We were having some issues with our ac tonight and the temperature was above what it should be. We do have lots of fans available. Did you let them know you needed a fan? I would appreciate you letting me know so we can do better. We use cotton wood which is the standard of the axe throwing businesses. We also have extra axes that are sharp and ready. We would be happy to give you another hour for free. Please let us know. Thank you, " My public response to their email ------------------------------------------ I'm glad the owner acknowledged the feedback and is open to improvement. I didn't specifically ask for a fan—I informed the staff that the AC appeared to not be working. A fan wasn’t offered. It would be helpful if the business took a more proactive approach and offered accommodations without requiring customers to ask. For example, if the AC is out, a staff member could say, “I'm sorry, our AC isn’t working right now. Here are some fans to help make things more comfortable. If you'd prefer to reschedule, we completely understand and are happy to move your appointment to a time when the AC will be working.” That kind of communication would go a long way. The blade sharpness might have been part of the issue, but I don’t believe that was the main problem. I'm not an expert in your field, so I can’t say what kind of wood was used. But if you’re saying it’s the same wood other axe-throwing venues use, then the issue likely wasn’t on my end. During our visit, the axes consistently bounced off the target rather than sticking. My wife wasn’t able to get any to stick at all, and I only had limited success after switching to a two-handed over-the-head throw with significant force and spin. It took a lot of effort and trial-and-error to find the right combination to make the blade stick. In short, it felt like something was off with either the wood, the axes, or a combination of both. Still leaving this a two star rating even after the owner offered me a free hour. I appreciate the offer but I'll go somewhere else.

Photo of the safety brief and instructions which are clear and concise! Great time! Everyone was really happy, for a last minute decision we got lucky there were spots open, so call ahead and go throw your heart out! Just don’t hit your heart. Hint: harder throws are not more accurate and do bounce back. Throw gentle. The staff will teach ya!

Went over here last night with some friends and had a great time. Gina and the rest of the staff were helpful in going over the rules and teaching proper throwing techniques. The hour went by fast, but we had a lot of fun and plan on coming back. Also, they have an archery game (think paintball crossed with archery, but no one gets seriously hurt.) Overall, highly recommend.
