Axe throwing is one of those activities that sounds chaotic until you’re actually standing there, axe in hand, realizing it’s equal parts therapy, competition, and pure, ridiculous fun. Walking into the venue, you get that mix of wood, metal, and faint adrenaline in the air. The staff gives you a quick rundown, safety rules, how not to accidentally throw an axe sideways and suddenly you’re channeling your inner lumberjack with surprising confidence. The first throw usually clunks off the board in a humbling way, but when you finally land that first solid thunk, it’s wildly satisfying. You feel it in your chest or you jump up and down like me. We had a reservation for an hour and a half and they also have live music on the weekends where you pay a $20 cover and listen to live music and throw axes all night long. Pretty good deal! We left right when the music was playing so it seemed pretty fun. they serve alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. No food but you can bring your own in. I’ll be going back!
I needed somebody to teach me how to throw an ax. Check. I needed somebody to teach me how to improve my throw. Check. I needed water. Check. I needed my friends. Check. I needed to hear an awesome band. Check. It's a pretty simple place, but it's got everything I need. I want to go back with more friends.
First time throwers here. Came for our anniversary date and had a great time! Keith was awesome! He showed us exactly what to do and helped us out when we weren’t doing so well (but didn’t hover over us). We came on a quiet afternoon but I’d really like to come back and bring our friends!! 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️LGBTQIA+ friendly, too!!
I had my birthday party there and it was a fantastic time! They were accommodating of my groups needs and played great music! The owner was communicative and was very easy to get ahold of when I needed to make changes. It’s a fantastic spot for parties
Cannot think of a more satisfying way to prep for a big week! Easy to book the rsvp online, we showed up with pizzas, got our bevy's and then a quick 5 minute tutorial on how to throw an axe and then we were off! Everyone in our group enjoyed our time and we were in and out under 2 hrs on a school night. Great fun way to get a quick hang out with friends and try something fun and unique.
