I spent this last weekend in San Francisco exploring and visiting for the first time with my best friend. We unfortunately got towed by this towing company and were met with lack of empathy and unresponsive customer service. I had never been towed before and was stressed and over whelmed to find my car was gone and we were stranded in the middle of San Francisco alone, two 20 year old girls in a city we’ve never been. I had to uber to the tow yard and tried explaining my situation after it had only been at the tow yard for maybe 30 mins and was charged $680 for not even an hour in the tow yard. I feel that my vulnerability and obvious anxiety was taken advantage of because after i anxiously explained the situation i was met with “Well we were called by the market , cash or card”. I don’t expect to be let off the hook but $680 is completely insane. In this climate, the lack of empathy or compassion that goes into charging me $680 to get my car out of the tow yard that had only been there for 30 minutes is astounding and disgusting. After sitting in what had just happened, i realized that me being a young girl with no other option but to pay up was an abuse of power.
Thank you B&A Towing Company for providing great service. John was very professional, thorough, knowledgeable and able to complete the job in a timely manner. In current times it is difficult to find good employees who are patient and actually listens to the customer's concerns, John listened. Again, thank you John for troubleshooting and taking good care of my van. GREAT JOB !!!!!
Illegally towed car. Should be investigated like other towing company in news. the women at the front was rude since they responded here and tried to get some driver to intimidate me when i asked questions. I like how they respond saying they're confident that the tow was illegal yet have no records. great assumption. I'll post the illegal invalid parking signage that did not have a valid permit and looked like an 8 year old wrote. Thanks Nibbi brothers and B&A for the illegal tow and illegal signage, not to mention just like the response below nobody cared--except to take my money. thank you
Terrifying experience…. I asked them to help jump start the car. During the work, they dropped a screwer in my engine. I think It’s pretty dangerous to drive and wanted to discuss what’s the best way to take the screwer out, but the guy was very aggressive and just want to take the money and leave. I said please help me take that thing out, and they refused and forcefully entered my car while I seat in the drivers seat (my car still can’t be started), and robbed the rest of screwers(which is my belongs) from me, and threatened to tow away my car, and left. In the entire process, the guy keep cursing me. It’s a horrible and terrifying experience. I would never want to go though. Btw, they charge $120 for jump start, while the other companies charge $80/85
Martes 21/3/2017 1 p. m. B&A Body Works & Tow: PROFESIONAL, A TIEMPO, A UN PRECIO RAZONABLE, y el conductor de la grúa, que es un CABALLERO! Bob me dio "5 STAR SERVICE!" El precio de B&A Towing fue muy razonable. Llamé a al menos 15/20 lugares antes de contactar a B&A Tow. Las personas que atendían el teléfono en las compañías de servicio de grúas eran: bastante groseras, maleducadas, y no me prestaron atención. Los precios que me cotizaron para un remolque EXTREMADAMENTE corto, de 3 1/2 cuadras, eran absolutamente y escandalosamente caros. Definitivamente me estaban aprovechando en esta situación y practicando usura de precios. Desafortunadamente, tengo que mover mi Honda, de un taller de reparación a otro. Fui al lugar, alrededor de las 10:40 a. m. de esta mañana. Necesitaba pagar mi saldo y, lo más importante, recuperar la posesión de mi auto. Llamé el lunes 20/3/17 a las 4:50 p. m. Acordamos una 'ventana de recogida de remolque de media hora'. Hablé con 'BOB' el conductor de la grúa, el martes 21/3/2017 a las 11:23 a. m. Bob dijo que estaría allí en 5 minutos. ¡Llegó exactamente en 5 minutos! ¡Increíble! Desde el momento en que comenzó esta experiencia con B&A Towing, recibí '5 Customer Service from Bob'. Él era: PROFESIONAL, cortés, decente, educado, y bien educado. Bob sabía la importancia del servicio al cliente cara a cara!
