I expected a great exterior paint job from Jeff and his team based on his reviews and they still managed to exceed my high expectations. They were meticulous in prepping the job, he caulked gaps and holes that were ignored by prior painters and even repaired a small piece of siding that had been damaged by dry rot. They ensured non-painted surfaces were protected, left the surrounding patio and walkways pristine upon completion and washed the windows. Even though it wasn't part of the original scope we discussed, Jeff also went on roof and painted some vents that were peeling. The house looks fantastic and I highly recommend using Baldwin Custom Painting if you want a quality job.
Jeff and his crew painted the extensive wood moulding and trim in our 3400 sq ft home. His work was amazing. Naturally, it had to be detailed because it was all trim. Additionally, he got the color right and the paint quality will ensure the work will last. Jeff even painted more than I asked for, for the same price. I would highly recommend Jeff if you want to avoid the frustration and delays that come with hiring a less experienced and less professional painter.
Jeff Baldwin is an excellent painter and frankly a perfectionist. His precise painting of my house has received compliments from visitors who are also professional painters. He is very reliable and punctual. I felt his price was very reasonable given the quality of his workmanship. I highly recommend Baldwin Custom Painting!
Baldwin Custom Painting did a great job painting our house--they did both interior and exterior work for us and were reliable, meticulous, and easy to work with at all time. The house looks great and it was not an easy job, as it's two stories with complicated overhangs and is 100 years old. I would recommend them to anyone seeking painters.
Jeff and his team have helped us with two exterior paint jobs relating to rental properties. We were very pleased with the entire experience. Jeff really knows his craft and is a stickler for detail. He helped us correct a color discrepancies on some factory painted/colored replacement windows, with special paint for that purpose (ditto on some metal doors he also painted for us that have held up well under daily and often not so gentle tenant use). He also used special paint (or maybe it was primer) on some brickwork we had painted. He also had good suggestions for how to paint some concrete porches we had and noted that the results would be more pleasing if the color matched the terra cotta roof tiles (instead of some off the shelf red concrete floor paint color) and all of the stoops were painted the same matched color. His suggestion was a bit of a headslap for us, but again, we appreciated his attention to detail so the result was something to be even more excited about. He's easy to work with, communicates promptly by email, text and phone and had very fair prices. His crew are great as well. Do contact Baldwin Painting well in advance of your hoped for completion date--his schedule fills up quickly.
