We’ve been taking our dog Ollie to Balmain Veterinary Hospital since he was a puppy, he’s now four and we’ve always been incredibly happy with their service. Even after moving out of the area, we still happily drive 30 minutes each way because we trust them so much. Ollie doesn’t see a particular vet, we’ve met many of the team over the years, and every single person we’ve dealt with has been kind, professional and genuinely caring. They always make Ollie feel comfortable and looked after. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a vet who truly cares
I would highly recommend this vet. I have been coming here for over 25 years and have always had exceptional service and brilliant care for my cats. Recently one of my cats has been diagnosed with diabetes and their knowledge for the treatment plan and compassion and understanding of the stressful situation is incredible. Their constant follow-up is commendable. A special thank you to Dr Kayleigh who has gone above and beyond for my fur baby. I can’t thank you enough.
Best vets ever. I’ve been taking my assortment of dogs (and the odd cat) there for 21 years. They have all the diagnostic tools. Great with elderly dogs and my very neurotic rescue jack russell cross. You and the critters are in very safe hands.
I’ve been bringing my pets here for over 11 years, and I honestly wouldn’t trust anyone else with their care. The entire team is incredibly caring, compassionate, and genuinely devoted to the wellbeing of animals. They are meticulous with follow-up and always take the time to check in, which makes such a difference. What I really value is how they work with you to find the best treatment plan for your pet — not just the most expensive option. More than once, they’ve guided me toward lower-cost, lower-impact treatments that were actually the best outcome for my pets. That honesty and integrity is rare, and it shows how much they truly put the animals first. Every single staff member, from the vets to the reception team, radiates a love of animals. You feel it the moment you walk through the door — it’s not just a job to them, it’s a genuine passion. After more than a decade of care, I can say with complete confidence that this is an exceptional veterinary practice. My pets have always been treated with kindness, respect, and the highest standard of care, and I’m so grateful for the peace of mind they give me as a pet owner.
Such a wonderful experience, I’d been looking for a new vet, and one of my oldest friends sees Nathan with her dogs for over a decade - first visit today with mine and it was just an absolute pleasure - even my dog who is a rescue and not a fan of the vet was relaxed and happy. Highly recommend. 4/9/25 update The above review was after an initial consultation a couple of months ago. Today I took my dog in for a teeth clean. She actually ended up having four teeth out her glands done and her nails done and I could not be happier with the entire experience not only from a financial perspective, but also only a few hours later tonight she is eating her dinner which included antibiotics and painkillers hidden in them and she is back to herself. I cannot recommend this vet practice enough.
