Long time customer, first time reviewer. Been coming to see Jill for almost 2 years now, and it truly feels like Jill's chair has become a home away from home here in the city. Not only is Jill AMAZING at what she does, she brings a welcoming, calming energy to each appointment, and truly removes any stress from the experience. With a massive client list, she’ll remember my cut and needs effortlessly, including offering a suggestion when she knows i’m thinking of trying something new out. I look forward to coming to see Jill every month, it’s truly a treat. If you’re looking for a new stylist, look no further than Jill!
I was a walk in and only had to wait briefly, despite the shop being completely booked. The staff was very friendly and Albert did a great job with my cut. He was friendly, professional, and carried a great conversation. This shop had a great vibe and the employees clearly care about your experience. Highly recommend stopping in for a cut if needed.
Jill Martin is fantastic! I’ve got pretty straight hair that can so easily fall flat and lifeless but she’s great at getting dimension and texture and it always grows out well between cuts. Can’t recommend her enough.
Went to go see Jill for a French crop and she absolutely killed it. One of the best haircuts I’ve ever had in my life. Also super welcoming, felt super safe and at home. Definitely recommend.
Two years ago, I decided to cut my hair short, but I struggled to find a barber who could achieve the desired look. However, my search ended when I discovered Barbershop Deluxe. This establishment has become a sanctuary for me. Personally, I highly recommend Jill as she is not only skilled but also personable, relatable, and creates a welcoming environment for everyone. Being an androgynous woman in the queer community, I trust Jill to consistently provide me with the best haircut. I encourage you to book with them and everyone else in the shop!
