Barcan & Kirby have consistently provided my family a fabulous service in property transactions and other legal work over the past 40 years. The whole team find solutions to difficult problems every time, often they end up resolving issues on the other side that opposing solicitors don't know how to deal with. Naomi O’Brien has done an excellent job for us on property sales and purchases recently. She recently acted on a more complex than usual house sale, acting quickly and efficiently to close down queries from day 1, allowing completion to take place in under 2 months. Alex Castiglione is also an excellent solicitor for property matters. I’d thoroughly recommend them both. They advise on the key risk areas, and cajole entire chains to push things along. B&K have always successfully resolved any stressful property legal issues we've encountered.

Having previously had very poor experiences with conveyancers, Sally was a breath of fresh air - she was professional, efficient, communicative and personable and managed to resolve some ongoing issues with our sale and purchase at speed. I explored legal options after approximately 3 & ½ years of workplace discrimination and harassment within my employer complicated further by compromised union support, having raised numerous grievances and raising public interest concerns. I found Barcan & Kirby personable, professionally reassuring and supportive from the outset. In partnership they enabled me in exploring such matters legally which had led to a continuous and very painful and distressing employment experience for myself and my family, and which attempted to seriously threaten my future without factual base after 24 years in the profession. I worked primarily with Alicia Bourada as my solicitor who I found approachable, assiduous, knowledgeable, diligent, empowering and straight talking. Samantha Castle handled my personal injury claim against an old employer after a workplace injury. She was outstanding - extremely knowledgeable and professional. I absolutely could not have achieved the resolution I achieved without her. Although my employed accepted liability immediately, it still took 3 years to reach a settlement - this is 1 year quicker than the national average. Without Samantha’s support throughout this time, I would have given up and simply not bothered. She kept me updated and was totally transparent about costs. She comes across as highly ethical and honest and is a straight talker so you know exactly where you stand. I am so grateful to Samantha and would not hesitate to recommend her. Worth absolutely every penny (and her fee was capped, so totally reasonable).
