Barks and Cuddles goal is to make sure your dog has a home away from home experience. Not only do they meet this goal but exceed it. You know your dog feels comfortable there when you pick him up and he is just as content standing next to Spencer as he is next to me. He never is anxious to leave but the exact opposite! We took our dog Wrangler for two different day stays before leaving him for six days with Spencer and Tabitha. Not only did he recognize where we were but he pulled me along to get to the door! He absolutely loves being there and enjoys playing with all the new friends he has made. We received updates daily along with lots of pictures. They were also very accommodating and understanding when our flight was delayed due to weather and we had to pick him up later. I highly recommend Barks and Cuddles to give your dog a loved and cared-for experience. I will continue to bring Wrangler there for play days as well as long stays. Spencer and Tabitha are the best!
Our sweet babies were so well taken care of at Barks and Cuddles. I was nervous to leave my fur babies for a 5-day trip for the first time. They were loved like they were left with family. We trust our babies to stay here any time and are so grateful we found a special place whenever we need a second home for them. We received daily pictures and updates along with quick responses if we had any questions/concerns. 100% recommend using them for any pet needs. They are incredible!
We have been bringing our Cowboy to barks and cuddles for almost a year whenever we leave town and need someone trusted to take care of him. We absolutely love bringing Cowboy and he enjoys his stays as well. Spencer is very kind and always a pleasure to communicate with- you can tell he is very passionate about his dogs and the care he provides to them. He responds quickly and sends daily updates with photos of your pup which is so much fun to receive. It’s comforting to know when Cowboy stays he gets to roam free and play with other dogs numerous times a day. We never have to worry when Cowboy is in his care- barks and cuddles will remain our go to place when we need someone to watch Cowboy. If you’re looking for a place to bring your pup for the day or over a longer stay, barks and cuddles is definitely the place to go.
We LOVE Barks and Cuddles! Our pup has been in their care twice now and we will definitely use them again. Daphne is a rescue and is very skiddish around other people but she really warmed up to them and had a great time with the other dogs. I even got pics and a report of how she did during her stay which was 3 days this time. I highly recommend them!
I have been taking my two babies, Bonnie and Georgia to Barks and Cuddles since April 2024. I was going on a cruise in June and needed a dog daycare. I’m super picky about where I take my dogs as all dog parents should be. I found Barks and Cuddles through online reviews. They had very good reviews so I set up a meet and greet with Spencer. It went wonderfully. Spencer showed me around, Bonnie and Georgia got to sniff around. He answered all my questions. Very professional and I could tell immediately he loved dogs! I started out with daycare so my dogs got used to Spencer, his wonderful wife Tabatha, their children and the other dogs. I love that it’s a small group of dogs compared to the bigger daycares where there is almost too many dogs. They are supervised at all times outside. Spencer and Tabatha provide updates with pictures via text each afternoon. They have been boarded twice. Once for 5 days and the other for 8 days. Everything went smoothly. They are priced right especially with less dogs there is more of a personalized experience. Scheduling and payments are super easy. Spencer and Tabatha are extremely responsive. Barks and Cuddles provides that home away from home and offers me that peace of mind knowing my dogs are in good hands. I highly recommend their service! Bonnie, Georgia and I love Barks and Cuddles.
