Everything we hoped for: quick rental without a lot of paperwork, a map to take with us, and very reasonable prices. We had a blast and would definitely rent here again on any future trips to Austin!
I recently rented a bike at Barton Springs and had a fun and scenic ride around the river/lake trail, with a few stops along the way. After biking I had delicious gelato right across the street from the bike shop :) What I appreciated most was Mark’s kind service and attention. In an era of kiosks and electronic ordering, he was supremely human and took the time to connect with every customer!
Beautiful day and ride around Lady Bird Trail made possible by Mark and the folks at Barton Springs Bike Rental. The jovial and friendly atmosphere made us feel right at home in the shop. We chose regular old city bikes to explore with, got a quick verbal tour and map of the trail, and headed out on our adventure with some water bottles provided. We were equipped, excited and ended up having the best time in the warm but tolerable October weather. Would definitely love to come again.
We did the Austin in a Nutshell bike tour since it was our first time here. Peter was a fabulous tour guide! Very knowledgeable and very funny! They provide water and jokes! So good!!
My friend and I was in town for a long weekend. We researched city tours. We choose the pedal assist city tour. Our guide was named Michael. He was great. He was full of knowledge at each stop. The tour covers a lot of ground so wear good shoes and get good night's sleep before tour. They provide the water. Sign up was fast and easy. Communication was good before tour. They even kept a swim bag for us so we didn't have to Uber back to hotel to get it after tour. Tip- Barton Springs is close by for a dip in the natural springs. Perfect for a cool down after the tour.
