I’ve used Neil on two separate occasions to upholster period chairs, and each time I’ve been absolutely blown away by the quality and finish. He has brought two beautiful Victorian chairs back to life, and I couldn’t be happier. Neil is always incredibly helpful and works hard to meet preferred deadlines. Couldn't thank Neil and the team at Bearwood Upholstery Workshop enough! They upholstered and revived 6 of my late grandmothers dining chairs and footstall. Neil and his team replaced seat pads and recovered upholstery on our conservatory set. He came out to view, was happy to leave fabric pattern books, listened to our requirements, advised and recommended options - the end result is superb! Nothing flash or pushy about Neil and Amrik, they're professional, efficient and deliver on quality, time and price. This is the third time we've engaged them. Excellent service.
We had a mid-century sofa restored by Bearwood Upholstery including new springs and foam, and we’re extremely happy with how it turned out. The sofa has a lot of sentimental value, and it was great to see it treated with such care. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and professional, and they took the time to explain the different options and prices with no upselling at all. Collection and delivery were free and handled carefully. The finished result is excellent quality and exactly what we wanted. We were also really pleased to be able to support a local service — highly recommended.
I had my sofa cushions (12 pieces, seat and back) refilled by Amrik and Neil. From start to finish, very professional and friendly. Amrik offered to do one set as a trial for me, before proceeding with the others. He then collected the remaining 10 cushions and turned them around within 2 working days, delivering them back to me, so we didn't go without the sofas over the weekend. Most importantly, very happy with outcome, they look like new and feel good. Very happy with the service! I’ve added before and after pics so you can see the difference.
