I have been coming to Bella Sante for about a year now, mainly receiving their hydrafacial treatments and massages here and there. Usually had great experience but had some cystic acne that was starting to clear up and decided it was time to get another hydrafacial. Technician sold me a cleanser and told me to use it every night. Acne worsened ten fold, did not really get better so I called in and asked them for advice, they said they would bring me back in to do red light therapy and also to give me some products to go home with. I told them I did not want them to touch my acne at all because I was quite certain that that was the cause of my breakout, and it was already about 5 days post op, acne was clearing back up due to constant exfoliation and glycolic acid. But they sold me on the promise that they would only do red light therapy to ease the irritation. When I got there, I was told that I should let them pop and exfoliate my pimples because “you have to remove all the gunk to stop the acne from coming back”, even after I already said I didn’t want to do anything irritating. I had seen this technician before and she did great so I trusted her. Face seemed much clearer afterwards, and I was advised not to use the cleanser that I was sold during my last session.. (like???) Fast forward the next morning, I broke out in hives again, much worse than before. Messaged them again about it and they just told me they already did everything they could and referred me to a dermatologist. Wasn’t the point, the point was that my acne was already clearing up after the first time but they insisted on doing red light therapy to calm the irritation and then absolutely ignored my request and understanding of my own skin, which ultimately made my skin extremely damaged afterwards (which I am still dealing with now, 3 months later). I should’ve received a full refund for what I was forced to deal with. I could not go out for weeks, I was extremely insecure for months. First picture is my face after hydrafacial, mind you I had little to no acne at this point in time. 2nd & 3rd is the day after hydrafacial on both sides of my face. Third was the day before I was brought in for treatment (round 2), which was about a week after the first hydrafacial. Last picture is what became of my face after their “treatment”. My skin is ruined. It has not healed in months, I still have those bumps and terrible acne scarring and blemishes. Insanely disappointed to say the least, I do NOT recommend ANYONE to go here if you struggle with acne at all. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE. Not only this, but the pricing is an absolute scam. They absolutely take their time getting ready so they have less time to work on your face, therefore you end up needing to book appointments again and again and again. Within a few minutes after sitting, they’re already trying to sell you products that obviously did not work and was ridiculous I was even sold a product for my acne problems but then was advised to stop usage of. I was given a mask and a lotion for what happened the first time, and the funny thing was was that my technician changed out the mask she originally prepared for me because her boss spoke with her and made her exchange a cheaper one for me. Just insane. Cheap and unprofessional.
I originally rated Bella Sante as not up to my expectations, but after coming back on Tuesday, I'm genuinely impressed and I felt important to update my thoughts. After I posted my original review, someone from Bella Santé personally reached out to me. She asked what went wrong, listened to my concerns and feedback, and confidently invited me back because she believed I hadn’t experienced the level of service they’re known for. Just the fact that she took the time to call says a lot about the integrity and pride Bella Sante has. I went back for another massage, and it was great. The quality, attention, and care was noticeable from the moment I walked in. Bella Santé clearly believes in their service and stands behind their reputation. I think this this second experience reflected that. While this isn't the best mind blowing massage I have gotten, I had a great experience and recommend Original review: I got the tension relief massage and it was okay, nothing special. I had higher expectations because of all of the 5-star positive reviews, but it just didn't meet my standards. The staff and massage therapist were most definitely friendly, respectful, and professional. I loved how they were welcoming to everyone. I saw a couple of bugs in the bathroom, they were dead but one was alive. In the wide scope of things, it is a clean facility, but I was surprised to see that it was sub par from my expectations. Also, I had add ons for my massage, and that was completely forgotten during my massage time. I thought that after I had spoken up and mentioned it, I would have received those treatment add ons, but my session ended and I did not. I came for the full experience, and I guess I received that partially. I understand that we make mistakes and forget, but it's just disappointing that you are paying to pamper yourself in a luxurious environment and it isn't meeting expectations.
My MIL purchased me the Expecting Moms Bundle as a gift to celebrate my pregnancy. I cannot recommend this experience enough! I booked in for a day with The Prenatal Escape Massage with Brian, a Rose Collagen Custom Facial with Susan, and the Bella Hand Facial with Sabrina. Every staff member was professional and put me at ease immediately. They were all knowledgable about their specialties, caring towards me as a client, and a pleasure to work with. The changing area was well maintained, with lockers, steam, and showers as well as provided toiletries. They also provided teas, water, and light snacks (chocolates etc.) for while you wait between services in their comfortable waiting area.
Fantastic facial as always by Susan. I have been going to her for years. Her facials are thorough and refreshing. I always come away with great advice and feedback for how to improve for the better. Highly recommend a facial with Susan!!
My husband and I got hydrafacials from Courtney and Wanda. They were both lovely! It was our first time at Bella Santé and I'm sure we will be going back. My skin feels great. I only booked a 30 minute session but it was still super relaxing. I highly recommend Bella Santé, especially Courtney and Wanda!
