We were new to the area and looking for help with tax prep. He was late filing them, so we had to pay a penalty. Now, 3 years later, we were audited and found to owe additional taxes due to improper tax prep (~$800, with ~$150 of penalties and interest). When contacted, he declined to pay the penalties and interest or take any accountability. We do not recommend his services and will not use them in the future.

Jennie and the Bergerson Tax Team are wonderful! All the way from the kind and helpful introduction by the person I spoke with to set up tax services to working with Jennie! My dad recommended Bergerson Tax Services to me a few years ago, and I have used their services every year since! Jennie always responds in a timely fashion, is very polite and helpful throughout the whole process! She has great tools to ensure the whole Tax filing process goes smoothly and helps keep things organized! I highly recommend Bergerson Tax Services!

I’ve used their tax service for a number of years and the provider has been efficient and accurate. During COVID, they switched to a drop-off service for annual tax preparation,. The company has maintained this drop-off model for four years now. A virtual option works if the value remains the same. What I liked about in-person appointments was the walk-through of my taxes and the chance to ask questions. I’m now paying increased prices, but no longer receiving a personalized approach or the value of using a professional versus filing online with Turbo Tax. When I had question on this year’s filing and sent them via email (the way the company now operates), the responses were terse, impolite, and made me feel like a burden even though I’m paying for a service. This method might work for some, but for those who prefer a personalized approach, I recommend going elsewhere as I will be doing so in the future.

This review is long overdue. Jennie has been doing our taxes for the last five years now and we are appreciative of the incredible level of service provided. She is extremely knowledgeable, efficient, and very responsive regarding our questions and communication with her. We recently moved out of state and it was reassuring to know that we were able to keep Jennie as our tax professional. As long as Jennie continues to provide tax services, we'll continue to do business with her. I cannot recommend Bergerson Tax Services enough. Thank you for always keeping my tax season stress free!
