Got my first (picture attached) and now working on second tattoo here. Super kind, super professional, awesome people. I was so nervous walking in for the first and Sarah made it such an easy process and walked me through everything, stenciling, comfort during, and after care. Now, I'm working with Astro Ally on a piece that looks AMAZING even after just one session and super excited to see it finished. Can't recommend enough, especially as someone who was timid for so long.
Amazing. The most wonderful experience. Andrew Baker was my tattoo artist and if I ever get a tattoo again. I will absolutely be going to back to work with him. He made the whole experience extremely relaxing. He was SO accommodating and made it so un painful. It was my first tattoo and I couldn’t be more grateful. 10/10 would recommend him and go back. The tattoo was absolutely beautiful and came out better then I could have ever imagined
me and my wife were in Portland for a couple weeks visiting family. my wife's been out west before but it was my first time. we spent literally the whole trip with family and the day before we left we randomly had some free time and someway somehow we landed on getting tattoos lol. my wife just got her first tattoo a year ago to the day, and was ready to add her next bit. I have a decent amount of tattoos so I was more concerned with finding a shop that would be great for her and I'd figure out my own stuff. this shop deserves every 5 star it gets. first off it's beautiful, and secondly everyone was super accommodating. they took us as walk-ins. electric.kitten (Danielle) had my wife and drew my wife's design up right then and took her vague description and made exactly what my wife wanted. I chose a flash of a pinup boy but unfortunately the artist that owned that design was booked up. I was bummed because he was the artists that focuses more on my style so it meant I wouldn't get tattooed. but the shop owner came up to me and asked me to describe what I wanted and he called historic tattoo which is the like holy land of ameri trad in that area. they said yeah send em over! so lil 5 min drive later I was getting my head tattooed as a walk in at a new shop all because of the kindness and accomodations of birdhouse tattoo. my wife and I have made plans to make it tradition to visit family and stop by the shops to get some work added once a year. I've never planned tattoos that involve a flight and thousands of miles lol but this place is something special
I can't say enough about this studio and my artist, Jamison. This was my second tattoo since my first 10 years ago. My piece had the potential to be fairly complex, and I was little concerned about how it might turn out. But Jamison expertly guided my through the design process, exhibited admirable patience while we trial-and-errored our way to finding the best placement, and absolutely nailed the execution. While lying on the table for 5 hours near the main door, I got to see other clients, most of them walk-ins, come in and get top quality customer service. The studio is welcoming, and the staff all friendly and genuine.
If you’re looking for a good tattoo shop - you must come here!!! My friend and I had a walk in and were assisted right away. We worked with Mitchell & he was fantastic through the whole process. He made us feel very safe and welcome, great conversationalist & the tattoos turned out incredible!!! The shop is covered in plants and has such a nice vibe. Everyone we interacted with was very friendly and we were even provided snacks and a drink!! Would highly highly recommend seeing Mitchell for your tattoo needs! Thanks Birdhouse for the incredible visit :)
