Far better than the last couple times my friend and I have been here! I had my suspicions so I asked, and sure enough they have a new chef. Two examples of improvement: 1) The size of the shrimp. Far larger than last time ordered. 2) the prime rib was cooked perfectly medium rare. Had major issues with temps previously. They definitely earned getting my business back. I hope the improvements in quality remain consistently!
The prime rib was great! Really tasty. The lobster was good. I really like the crab cakes. Yum!! Probably some of the best fried zucchini i have had. Service took a little long to get to the table. Need to work on at least getting the drinks right away. Oberall, I will be back.
Avoid this restaurant as it has terrible food, poor service, and the ambiance is outdated. To start with the atmosphere, it looks like a restaurant from the 80s that never upgraded any infrastructure. The outside of the building is completely dark at night, and the inside has very OK lighting. But that doesn’t even begin to describe all the issues with the food. Everything you order is some frozen, prepackaged food that is reheated. The calamari strips are not fresh, it’s a terribly small portion, and some parts of it were still frozen. The crabcakes have an extremely fishy smell, and the ratio of crab to breading is so bad. You almost can’t taste or see any crab. The onion rings taste like something you get out of the grocery store. The mac & cheese is a solid block and has no flavor. The grilled chicken is pretty dry with some parts inedible. And last, don’t order the cookie dessert. As you can see in the photo, what they serve it’s supposed to be a cookie skillet, but it was an abomination. I can’t believe the restaurant actually felt OK giving the order as shown in the photo. Additionally, the ice cream that it is serve served with has so much actual ice in it. The worst part was that it took well over an hour to get the food. Almost close to 1.5 hours, and I had to pay for the meal 40 minutes before it had even arrived. When the food did arrive, they let me know. It had been sitting in the back for a while, but they were pending some other items. This was quite noticeable as all of the food dishes were room temperature/cold. If you do a to go order, the restaurant does not provide you with any silverware or napkins. Staff are not friendly, management is not embarrassed at the quality of the food, and they do not even try to make it right. Do not come here.
Underwhelming. Asked for a ribeye medium well and I'm pretty sure it's a new york strip cut and it's fully cooked and really dry, the Manager did take off the up charge though. The veggies were overly salty but good, and the mashed potatoes were okay but slightly cold. The calamari and the creme brulee were the best plates. Service was friendly and attentive. My husband and I think you get better bang for your buck and tastebuds at Texas Roadhouse though I love how much space this place has.
Very Delicious! The 12 oz ribeye, cooked medium rare was juicy and perfectly prepared, the green beans and mash potato’s were tasty! I would recommend making a reservation before hand as they can get busy especially around 6-7 for dinner time. For dessert, Crèmebrulee. It was sweet and perfect to end dinner with!
