Aileen has been doing my blow outs and extensions for over 2 years. She’s an amazing stylist for both services. Highly recommend Aileen and Blo Addison Walk!
I cannot recommend Aileen enough!!! From the moment I sat in her chair, I felt completely taken care of. She really listens to what you want and somehow makes it even better than you imagined. My hair and makeup came out absolutely flawless—I was getting compliments all day and felt so confident walking out of the salon. Aileen is not only insanely talented, but also so warm, professional, and easy to talk to, which makes the whole experience even better. You can tell she truly loves what she does and takes pride in her work. If you’re looking for someone who will make you feel beautiful and leave you obsessed with your look, Aileen is your girl. I’ll 100% be coming back and recommending her to everyone I know!
I’ve tried this location a few times over the last several years and each time I leave more disappointed than happy. This most recent time I went in an hour before closing so it was more quiet, but the vibes in general are just awkward here. While she was nice, I don’t even know my stylists name because she never told me. It certainly doesn’t feel like you’re treating yourself. I asked for a soft long layered blow out or textured waves for a photoshoot I had the next day and was given stiff and tight curls. Even with them falling over the next day I knew it was going to be nowhere close to what I wanted and sure enough it was not. I had to brush it all out the next day and fix it myself which is not what I paid $90 for. I’m also convinced the extra product I paid $15 extra for was not used - I use it at home and the bottle used was not the same or labeled the same, unless they are filling bottles up with different products. The place is at least clean. Nevertheless I can’t trust that my hair will be done the way I want here unfortunately.
Had higher expectations. Left with a dent in my hair and had to completely redo it when I got home. Left a message on their phone and replied to the text I got asking for feedback and I have yet to hear anything. I never get my hair done and decided to for a work holiday party. Guess I made a mistake. The girl who did my hair also tried to upsell me on a membership during the whole shampoo. I understand that it is part of the job, but again, I never get my hair done and I really don’t see a reason to. I also asked for big volume hair and as you can see it is flat, dented, and only curled at the ends. This is not what I wanted at all.
Jesse did my hair and she was amazingly kind and skillful the whole time. The perfect mix between talkative and quiet. I would love to go again. She made my wild mess beautiful.
