It was an enjoyable brunch experience I visited with my girlfriends today and absolutely enjoyed their menu, and it was beautifully presented. The service was welcoming, the ambiance was cozy, and overall it was a delightful experience. A gem worth visiting!
I love coming to the post oak hotel, from the spa to the rooms and the pool- everything is top notch and very luxurious. This time we came to visit during lunch break and I had my favorite salad (which isn’t on the menu anymore) but our server Monica was so amazing and helpful, she asked the kitchen if it could still be made and they made it happen! My boyfriend also had to take phone meeting during our meal and I asked if they could put his burger under the heat lamps so that way it wouldn’t get cold, however because the meeting lasted longer than expected, Monica said they went ahead and remade the burger for him. We felt so taken care of and Monica was extremely courteous and hospitable, that’s part of why we love coming to the post oak. Thank you to the team at the restaurant and at the rest of the hotel as well! And big shoutout to Monica for being so lovely 😊
The food was delicious, very flavorful. The sushi was very tasty. I ordered the steak, the dish was savory. We enjoyed the tea, I believe it was vanilla. It complimented the pastries which were very cute and unique. I loved the floral bee theme. The service was wonderful, they made the birthday experience very special for my freind.
My friend and I visited Bloom & Bee for Houston Restaurant Weeks. Neither of us had eaten there before. It is located inside the Post Oak Hotel and overlooks the pool. The setting was beautiful and elegant. The service was very good. The food was just OK, in my opinion. We each started with the Summer garden salad, which was very good. For my entree, I chose the pan seared sea bass, which came with artichoke confit, heirloom tomato coulis, polenta and olive tapenade. The sea bass was fine but I've had better. There was barely any polenta to speak of on the plate. My friend had the Oak wood grilled prime New York strip with mashed potatoes and smoked cipollini onions. Again, it was good but not exceptional. For dessert, I chose the sweet corn flan. It was interesting but I have decided I don't like the taste of corn in a flan. I don't think it works. My friend had the floating island dessert, which was a poached meringue floating in a creme anglaise with candied almonds. Her dessert was definitely better, but a little challenging to eat. I had a glass of wine and she had the Lilac Blossom cocktail, which was very good. Overall, we enjoyed our experience but I don't feel the need to go back.
My friend and i dined in this beautiful restaurant. The ambiance is phenomenal. The servers are friendly and helpful. I recommend parking valet since there aren’t any other options ( you can have it validated for $8). The decor is beautiful.
