They took great care of my dog in an emergency situation. They attended to him promptly. They treated him with great care and sensitivity. They had excellent communication. They took care of his immediate needs until I could get to my regular vet. Their estimated total cost of care was actually almost $52 less than what I paid at my regular vet. I would highly recommend their services.
While it took several hours to be seen and several more to have my kitty cat treated - the staff were very kind and caring. They understood that I could only afford to go so far and helped me get my fur baby taken care of for under my capped amount. He is healing nicely and I’m thankful they were there.
I rushed my 13 yo Aussie border collie to Blue Pearl after she quickly took a turn for the worse. The overnight receptionist was kind and calm during a stressful heart breaking situation. The medical team got her quickly triaged and provided sedation to relieve her stress so I could give her one last hug. They provided us a private room and the euthanasia nurse walked us through the process letting us know all the while when she was aware and when she’d gone to sleep for the last time. We were able to get a clay paw impression. It was a heart breaking experience and I’m so grateful for the compassion and care that the staff provided to my Lucy girl and myself.
My boyfriend and I brought our cat, Dumpling, after a few unsatisfactory visits with a standard vet clinic. She was losing weight rapidly and they were suggesting tests and processes that involved a lot of waiting with zero answers in the interim. I feared for her quality of life and pain level. Dumpling saw Dr. Benally once we arrived and we were informed in about an hour that she had Diabetes and her blood sugar was over 500. I work in healthcare so I understand the cost of emergency medicine vs. preventative care; I have no issue with their prices but couldn’t personally afford the multiple day stay she’d need and there was no guarantee the treatment would save her from the point she was at. We had to make the difficult decision to have her humanely euthanized and both the doctor and the woman who was working at the desk, Edie, were so comforting and assured us we were doing the right thing. They didn’t rush us to make a decision, didn’t make us feel guilty for not being informed enough to recognize signs of diabetes in cats, etc. We received 100x more compassion from them than I’ve had from MDs and DOs during personal ER visits. We picked up Dumpling’s ashes today and we can see she was handled with so much care. She was presented to us beautifully along with information relating to dealing with grief from pet loss. I loved that when they took some of her fur for us to keep, they got fur from all of her different colored spots (she was a Siamese mix). It’s things like that which seem small that make the biggest difference. I never want to have to utilize emergency care for my pets again but if it happens I will 100% be coming back here. Dumpling was my best friend who has been with me through the hardest part of my life and they eased some of that pain for me. Thank you all so much for your compassion and empathy. I’m including a picture of our Christmas card this year for you all to have.
Our precious cat Marcus became very sick. We brought him in on a Saturday. The Vet (I’m sorry we can’t remember his name) was very professional and kind. We went over Marcus previous bloodwork results from our regular Vet. He listened very carefully to us and suggested an ultrasound sound and an overnight stay. He also suggested we see Dr Phillips (Internal Medicine Doc) on Sunday. We saw Dr Phillips and her PA Rachel. They are simply Angels sent from Heaven. Their love and compassion is what helped us thru this difficult time. Marcus ended up having multiple blood transfusions. Sadly he lost his fight. We are so very devastated. Everyone that we meet at Blue Pearl was so very kind, professional and compassionate. Dr Phillips and Rachel are the best Doc & PA we have ever meet (this includes our people Doctors). Dr Phillips & Rachel we cannot thank you enough for all that you did for Marcus. We were truly Blessed to have you in Marcus last days. Thank you so very much, Paul & Donna
