This was the first time my family owned a puppy. We wanted to make sure our new pup Champ had an understanding of obedience because we didnt want to make the same mistake with our previous dog. We want to be able to give Champ the freedom he needs to let out his energy & be outgoing but also to ensure his safety overall. Thats when we reached out to Christian at Blunt K9, based on the reviews and the service he offered for puppies, we knew we could trust him to help Champ go on the right path. & he did not fail. We left Champ as an energetic puppy who didn’t understand the foundation of obedience and we left him with Christian for the 6 week training program & Champ came back a whole new puppy still with alot of energy lol but he is a puppy and we know its just part of his personality. but obedience wise we saw a whole new side of Champ that we cant wait to see him progress more as he gets older. Christian was very helpful in teaching us each week what Champ learned, keeping in contact and updating us on what Champ learned. And as Champ is still a puppy, Christian is still there for us now that he is home, by giving us follow ups and ensuring that if we need any help, we can reach out. I am excited to see Champ get more better as he gets older to allow him to be a playful dog when it comes to activities. We cant recommend Blunt K9 enough to help your dog get on the right path. They were amazing!

Christian made a huge difference for our family. We sent both of our dogs to his one-month board-and-train program, and it was exactly what we needed: personalized, thoughtful, and transformative. Our older dog (6 years old) had been the “only child” his whole life, and bringing home our second dog—full of puppy energy at a year and a half—turned both their worlds upside down. On top of that, both dogs had reactivity around other dogs, which made walks and everyday life stressful. From the evaluation, Christian was able to understand each dog’s unique personality, tendencies, and triggers, and he came back with clear plans tailored specifically for each of them. He truly understood what makes our dogs tick. Their self-control has improved dramatically, their reactivity has significantly decreased, and, maybe most importantly for us, they’re now able to play, relax, and actually enjoy each other’s company at home. Watching them peacefully hang out together has been such a joy, and we didn't even think it would be possible. Christian brings so much expertise, calm presence, and genuine care for the dogs he works with. They absolutely adore him. We first heard about him through the owner of Brick City Pets, and I’m so glad we followed that recommendation. We’re walking away with happier, more grounded dogs and a lot more confidence as owners. Highly recommend!!

I came to Christian with concerns about Scooby’s behavior around other dogs/animals. As well as obedience issues because of his breed. Although I was worried that Scooby would be defiant or against the training with proper techniques and guidance we were able to get him to be a completely different dog. No leash pulling, follows orders and has lost all reactivity. His methods may be new to people and looked at differently but it’s a necessary step in the process to build a bond with your best friend and being able to effectively communicate with them. Christian is a great trainer and understands the tougher breeds to handle. Definitely look into training if you want a deeper connection with your dog.

Chris is an amazing person to work with, and has always worked well with Dunkin. We have utilized a leash walking class for the community, group walks, and boarding services with Chris and have not been disappointed. He is very knowledgeable and provides expert advice on all situations surrounding Dunkin's behavior. I recommend working with Gimme Walks for all of your training, dog walking, and behavioral needs for your dog.

I cannot recommend Gimmewalks (Chris + Jenny) enough! They are both very good with my girl Lumi and I can always trust that she will be in good hands while with them. So far I have used them for walks and boarding services while I am out of town and they make it very convenient to schedule, pick up/drop off, and provide updates. I can confidently say that Lumi also loves hanging out with Chris and his dogs as well. I can’t wait to see what the training program will look like since Lumi comes back a better behaved dog every time.
