I used Blush for my wedding hair and makeup and for 7 other girls. Everyone absolutely loved their hair and makeup and we all got so many compliments! All of the girls loved their hair and makeup and everyone got something different which all turned out amazing. Monica and Claire were amazing, kind, talented and professional. My trial was smooth and they really listened to what I wanted and offered great suggestions. I highly recommend Blush!
I booked my makeup here 9/6/25 for my post elopement reception. I basically showed the stylist a photo of someone in natural looking make up- some blush and light eyeshadow. He talked me into doing airbrush and told me that it would photograph better than normal make up. I agreed, assuming he knew what he was doing. When he was done, the make up looked fine in the studio light. I thanked him, paid $145 plus a $25 tip. When I got outside to my car and looked into the mirror the make up truly looked scary in the natural light. I was extremely pale with orange around my chin and nose that was an attempt to contour without blending. The make up was so cakey and dry and had set into every line in my face. Within an hour it became super flakey especially around my eyes and mouth. He had put false eyelashes on me without any mascara underneath or on my lower lashes. It looked really weird to have a full face of really heavy make up with bare lashes apart from the extensions he placed that were barely hanging on. I called my friend and asked her if I could come show her so she could tell me if I was overreacting. When I arrived to her apartment she looked at me and said “oh God- okay, we can try to fix this. Pull the lashes off, they’re hanging off anyway.” And I started crying because I was so embarrassed of how I was going to look in front of 85+ people. We spent about an hour attempting to blend, add a moisturizing spray to make it look less dry, and fix what he had done. Ultimately we had to throw in the towel, take the make up off completely and she redid my face. I spent the hours before my reception panicking that I was going to look ridiculous and it truly took so much joy out of the entire experience. I cannot believe I spent $170 on this service.
First, I'd like to say how gorgeous the shop is. Secondly, Anne Marie did such an amazing job with my daughters hair! I would definitely recommend going to Blush for your hair needs! I am looking forward to trying out their nail salon as well.
Maddi have me such an amazing experience at this salon! I wanted partial highlights and knew with having previously box died hair it would be difficult, even taking a couple of sessions but with just one session with her she got me exactly what I wanted! She was so understanding and knew exactly how to go about giving my hair life again, I love this place so much already!
Love love love coming here!!!!! Every time my hair looks fabulous and I typically come at least once a month just for a wash and blow out as well as my cut and colors. I have tried all the stylists and there could not be a sweeter group of girls anywhere! Also had them do my hair and makeup for an event and I’ve never felt more beautiful.
