Dear Mr. Boomershine, I am writing to you on behalf of myself, my son Ben and his father Nick to express our mutual gratitude to your firm and in particular Ms. Miranda Raustad. We contacted Ms. Raustad speaking for our son, who was in a roadside incident that involved the police. Ben was later arrested and taken to jail where he spent the night despite conclusively passing a breathalyzer test administered at the police station and then subsequently charged with driving under the influence. This was never a straightforward case and involved many mitigating aspects that the police were not aware of and never endeavored to inquire about. However, once Ms. Raustad became aware of all of the underlying facts and circumstances, she very diligently compiled a convincing case which she personally presented to the state attorney resulting in Ben's case being completely dismissed. From the outset, it was apparent to us that Ms. Raustad took the case with a level of seriousness that we felt it deserved. She competently presented all of the associated background details and correlated arrest events to ensure Ben a fair and just representation. We were very impressed with the high level of professionalism that Ms. Raustad displayed throughout the ordeal. As any responsible parent knows, it is a difficult decision to make to place our children in the responsibility of another when assistance is in need.
