Great, ever-changing selection of books, games and DVDs. Even if you don't know what you want, you'll likely find it here! All profits go to support Lifeline's excellent work.
This place is absolutely dangerous. The books are cheap and plentiful, well arranged, and excellent, so a "I'll just stick my nose in" visit quickly turns into a 30-min browse and you walking toward the counter with a stack of 7 items in a bit of daze, wondering what exactly just happened. BUT! don't feel any guilt at all, because all the proceeds go to Lifeline, so if anything, you should be buying MORE books and visiting MORE often. Yes. Keep telling yourself that.
Nice big space to browse. Books nicely displayed. Friendly staff. Busy with donations constantly coming through the door on the other side of the shop. Good low prices. Nice Saturday or sunday place to browse around. You can sit and have a coffee or food in the niche markets and then fresh food shop in the green grocers at the Markets, A good afternoon out.
I really like this great little bookstore in Fyshwick fresh food market - so many books, DVDs, puzzles, games! Most importantly all funds raised goes to local crisis support service. Highly recommend! 📚📖📒📓
