Absolutely amazing! Inquired about gluten free options for my partner and they absolutely delivered. Their employees are super nice, their food is amazing, and I'm obsessed with their fried oreos. 10/10 recommend!
They came to my job for lunch a couple of weeks ago and have been here before. There were complaints from my coworkers who tried them last time, who tried the bowls. They said they were just the frozen Costco bowls that were heated up. Despite that, I thought I would give it a go and just avoid the bowls hahaha So I got a burger. The sexy burger w/ fries, to be precise. The young lady at the window clearly didn't want to be there but was nice enough, took my order and all the things. It took about 10 -15 minutes for my order to be ready and it was hot, which is always nice, but seems like a luxury these days. The fries were the best part of my meal. They were seasoned with grated Parmesan cheese, parsley, and salt. Delish! Almost tasty enough to ignore the fact that I buy the same fries from Costco. I had high expectations for the burger because it had so much stuff on it, and it did look really good. But it was bland. Not a speck of seasoning anywhere, although it was juicy. For $17, I could've made this whole entree and been way happier. They get low marks because one of my besties tried their chilli. It was of the canned variety and completely cold. They just put it in a cup and gave it to her. For $4 plus tip, again, could've done a whole lot better on her own. Unacceptable. I won't be going back.
Ordered Hawaiian burger no ham with fries. Juicy delicious one of the best burgers intown I have tried. Grilled onions the grilled red peppers n grilled pineapple on top of wonderful beef patty cheese lettuce tomato and warm bun. Will return for more..
I'm incredibly disappointed. I've been going to Boom Ba Laddy's for at least 8-10 years. My favorite is there fried tacos which they no longer serve. I got my second favorite, there steak quesadilla and not only was it under cooked(cheese was cold and not melted) they chopped up a hamburger patty instead of useing there steak. I took a few bites and ended up going to Taco bell.
This food truck has a little of everything, pretty sure anyone can find something they like here, make sure to check their Facebook page, they do move all around Anchorage!
