After trying to get correspondence from Kim for an entire month via email and phone, I drove an hour through Boston traffic (8 months pregnant) to be on time for an appointment. She then left me waiting for a half hour after arriving only to tell me she couldn’t help me. I explicitly asked her on the phone the day prior if she had everything she needed to help me and to let me know how to better prepare if possible and she said we were all set. In-person at our appointment, she proceeds to tell me all of this could have been handled through email in the first place. Very very poor communication and customer service. FYI- prior positive reviews were built from former owner who very recently sold his business.
I met with George to do my taxes after filing an extension. He reviewed all the documents and communicated all the situations very clearly to me, a non-professional. Following our meeting, he did additional research that worked in my favor. So happy to have found someone I can trust.
I had an outstanding experience working with George on my taxes--he seriously cares about his clients and will go the extra mile to ensure their taxes are filed properly. After initially calling George to explain my situation (my 2020 taxes were not filed correctly and I was receiving IRS notifications in the mail), he offered to meet on a weekend afternoon, which was the most convenient time for my schedule. Upon first meeting him in-person, it became clear to me that he prioritized creating a warm, welcoming environment where he could really get to know his clients. Although my taxes were a bit more complicated than we had originally thought, George took the necessary time to fully understand my situation, explaining to me how the IRS was interpreting my previous return. I can now sleep easier knowing my taxes were handled properly! On top of that, he worked with me to provide fair prices for his services, and gave me a quote of the price range *before* we met, which I thought was very transparent. It was obvious from my experience that George deeply cares about his clients, and I will surely be returning to file my taxes with him!
We been working with George now for four years for tax prep, and it's always an easy decision. Super easy to schedule time to meet with him, the tax prep itself never takes long, and he's always quick with the best advice.
