When I went twice Natalie was amazing she is simply the best then once I wanted to book her and she wasn’t available so I asked the receptionist to book someone good as Natalie or nearly as good as her. I just realised after the session that she booked a beginner who started waxing only 3 months ago. When I complained to the therapist she said ‘This is what it is’. The experience was horrible but the most horrible thing is that the receptionists are lying? I told her clearly that I can wait days I’m not in a rush. Why has she decided to do something not in my favour? I'm there for intimate waxing obviously I do not want a beginner.
Had a hollywood wax yesterday with Larisa/Larissa (unclear on the spelling) and she was very friendly, and her technique helped with reducing pain too. Post-wax protocol was great - gave me the rundown of what to avoid, and applied a generous amount of oil and lotions to soothe the skin.
If there was a 0 for the customer service then I would rate this place 0. It was my first time to this place and such an awful and daunting experience. Booked Hollywood as the website wasn’t clear but when I checked in the waxer claimed this is for women and not for men and that you should have booked BSC, I suggested if she can do BSC considering I was there already but refused to carry on with the service. The manager and director claim to be a general neutral but sexism towards men are beyond imaginable. They refused to refund and I would never go this place again.
After moving up north, I tried The Brazilian Waxing Company for a Hollywood wax based on their name and reviews. Big mistake. The staff was kind but inexperienced, couldn’t answer basic questions about their wax, and the room felt clinical with a full bin of used wax strips - not exactly hygienic. They used strips for my Hollywood wax, left lots of hair behind, and told me to “come sooner next time” even though I waited the standard six weeks. A week later I went elsewhere for a Lycon hot wax, and they spent 30 minutes finishing the job properly. Save your money - don’t go here. On a positive note, the lady at the reception was very friendly.
It was the first spot in Manchester that I tried for my FB waxing and I do not regret my decision at all. The staff is super friendly, nice and professional. Loved the interior decor of the place. Going to be their loyal customer forever. Highly recommended 💛
