I cannot recommend this group enough. I started violin lessons about 6 months ago with Michelle, and she is amazing. I could not imagine a better instructor. I came in with next to no musical knowledge and she has been so patient... I truly love my lessons. They are reasonably priced with excellent teachers. I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in learning an instrument or vocals.
We have two students - 10 and 15 years old - who take lessons at Brighter Minds. We love Brighter Minds for a few reasons: Flexibility to find an instructor who's a great fit - My kids absolutely LOVE Ryan for Piano and Nate for guitar (although we've had great experiences with a few other instructors too). Our kids appreciated they chance to work with different teachers and then schedule "regular lessons" with their favorites. Customer service - Chris and his team go above and beyond to make life easier for families. As an example, he sent me an email out of the blue to let me know that Ryan and Nate had matching availability, so would we like to move both kids' regular lesson times. This let us stop coming in on different days, which is really helpful. Easy to schedule make up lessons - the Brighter Minds scheduling portal is really easy to navigate, but the customer service team is also always willing to look at make-up lesson options and schedule for us. I never feel like we "waste" money by missing a lesson for vacation because we can just add an extra lesson later.
My son started piano lessons at Brighter Minds 8 months ago and it’s been a great experience! It’s the first extracurricular that really clicked with him and his teacher (David) is a great fit. It’s super easy to schedule and reschedule when life gets crazy, all of the fill-in instructors have been SO GREAT as well, and all staff are so engaged. They make music fun and are willing to meet students were they are and are so encouraging in their love of music!
We loved our experience at Brighter Minds Music! We had Emily, who knew so much about children's development and each lesson was focusing on skills for their development. She also incorporated my son's interests in several different lessons. Great environment to make parent friends as well!
This is a gem of a music school for our area and I’m so glad we found it! All staff I’ve interacted with have been wonderful. My 8 year old son is loving his drum lessons with Nate. Nate is clearly knowledgeable, talented, and connects with school aged children children very well, leaving my son inspired and wanting to invest his time in the continued pursuit of improving his musical abilities. I believe the foundation of skills he is building through his lessons at Brighter Minds is increasing his confidence and love of music, which will likely carry into adulthood yielding all of the benefits we know music performers reap.
