A rude woman employee made fun of me, stating I was Italian. She is aggressive and abnormal for a sales job. So I didn't buy any art. Too bad I like one artist a lot, over all it was the same style, nothing unique or special. Owell. Next town, Taos maybe.
Many excellent artists but low diversity of styles. I want to purchase a Colorado artist, not foreign or out of state. The employees were a bit assuming, but friendly enough, the woman was not knowledgeable about art, a bit general but arrogant despite. I want to buy the newest artist, an artist new to the scene that no one knows yet. but she didnt know. The space, being subterranean, is decent enough in the first room especially.
A great gallery with excellent art choices and great personnel. They feature beautiful artwork that is approachable. We've loved visiting the Galleries (there are two on property- one specializes in western art and the larger space features a wider variety of artwork. Every July they invite artists to come and paint along thr Broadmoor Lake. We've enjoyed meeting the artists, including those who have painted some of the paintings we've purchased there.
