I recently completed the 6 week atmospheric drawing course. A really fun and engaging course, suitable for absolute beginners as well as more experienced artists. Laura is great at guiding you through the process, giving practical demonstrations and encouragement throughout the class. Laura and Veronika have created a really welcoming space and I'll definitely be returning.

I recently completed the 6-week landscape art course with Laura at Brushstrokes, and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. Laura is very approachable and encouraging, which made each class feel welcoming and relaxed. Over the six weeks we explored a range of media including watercolours, acrylics and charcoals. Her demonstrations were clear and easy to follow. I loved the variety and found I left each session feeling inspired to keep creating, so much so that I have signed up for the next course! I can not recommend working with Laura enough - she is so incredibly warm and welcoming. Her passion for teaching art shines through but so too does her desire to create a safe and supportive environment to enable new people like myself to find their feet. I looked forward to every week and was pleasantly surprised by what I was able to produce at the end having not done art since school almost four decades ago! If you’re at all interested in art I advise you book up asap before all the places go!
