This place is a Richmond staple for a reason. We had a great time. The was service was good our staff team was very attentive and helpful with assisting in our wine selection. The place always looks beautiful on the inside. The ambience is stunning as always. We enjoyed our meals and the atmosphere. Now that we live closer, this is definitely going to be in our rotation of go to spots. The bar area looks nice for stopping by for social hour during the week, which I also can’t wait to do. Great experience all around. Thanks.
My husband surprised me by taking me to this restaurant for our anniversary and my birthday, combined celebration. Our server was wonderful, and you could tell he had been there for eight years. He was calm, attentive, but not overbearing. There’s nothing worse than feeling like your server is sitting at your table with you because they never leave you alone. Our server timed his interactions perfectly, start to finish. The food was delicious, this is now my favorite steakhouse in Richmond hands down. Better than Bookbinders, but different atmosphere. The atmosphere was warm, cozy, old fashioned, lovely. We sat in a comfortable, private booth. Dessert and coffee were amazing, and they were kind enough to gift us with dessert. I really don’t think the experience could have possibly been better!
It has been about 10 years since I was last at Buckheads and boy was it great. Greg was our waiter and he was fabulous. We started with lobster bisque and shrimp cocktail. Both were excellent and I really loved the cocktail sauce for the shrimp, it had the perfect amount of horseradish. My wife had the salmon and I had the steak and crab. Both were wonderful and cooked perfectly. For dessert I had the key lime pie which was also very good. What really impressed us was that the timing between each course was perfect. Very little time passed between when our bowls were removed before the salad came out, and then again before the main course came out. I highly recommend going to Buckheads and will surely be back again much soon this time.
Excellent service, food, and ambiance. Ordered the 14oz Ribeye, with mixed vegetables, and potatoes. All of the food was phenomenal. Best steak I've had in Richmond! Service was friendly, attentive, and helpful. Also ordered a glass of Reisling. Plenty of parking. I recommend making a reservation in advance. Very satisfied and will be back in the future.
Absolutely hands down the best steakhouse I've ever been to! Some of the BEST steak I've ever had in my life! The owner even came around to our table and introduced himself! Very pleasant atmosphere, and all staff was very willing to help/answer any questions we had! We'll definitely be returning for dinner again in the future!
