Great little place to visit for hot drinks. I had the Granola yogurt with a hot chocolate and it was delicious. People also come in to take picture of the inside so could be busy. Will come again soon!

Don't go for the coffee. Proclaimed birthplace of cappuccino in US. Obviously very popular therefore crowded. The cafe itself looks great. Right next to Comedy Cellar.

Unbelievably gorgeous and authentic Italian coffee house in the heart of Greenwich Village. Not only will you enjoy your coffee in this tiny museum full of Renaissance era paintings, but you are also sitting in a historical site with the original cappuccino machine, the first in the United States. The coffee is extraordinary the staff is amazing.

Amazing, historic Cafe in the village. Apparently the first U.S. cafe to serve the Cappuccino? Beautiful atmosphere, easy to get a spot despite a big crowd, cheap and yummy menu items. Highly recommend.

Caffe Rggio The first caffe in the United States to serve Cappuccino. Since 1927, behind every great legacy is a steward, and today’s Caffe Reggio owes much to its current owner, Fabrizio Cavallacci. I have been told I must visit Caffe Rggio in Greenwich Village, near by iconic Washington Square Park. First impression step inside Caffe Rggio, feel like lost in time or place somewhere in an old country. I found myself a spot and ordered a cappuccino, which is an amazing flavor, strong, and creamy, cappuccino standard traditional cup. The entire decor was kept maintained, and I found myself admiring the element of the old country atmosphere. I was very surprised when I received my bill; it was much less than Starbucks. This is a service is a polite and gracious attitude; even the place has outdoor seating.
