They did the body work and that was fine. Not great work, but fine. It took a month to replace a door and a rim. But hey, maybe that’s a reasonable timeline. Problem now, when I leave my car is still barely driveable.. Shaking and grinding down the road. Odd because they supposedly sent the car to an alignment shop with this new rim and had the suspension components checked. Supposedly. But still barely driveable. Now I’m out of time on my rental with insurance and they haven’t addressed the issue. They go ahead and gaslight my insurance company into believing that any remaining issues are a symptom of some mysterious, undiagnosable transmission issue so it’s no longer their problem and my insurance shuts the claim. Case closed. So at my own expense I had to take my car to a secondary shop. This other shop diagnosed a bent wheel bearing in minutes and had it replaced within the hour on the same front right wheel where Caliber had replaced the rim and tire and then sat on it for a month. How could this possibly go unnoticed and then subsequently unaddressed when I reported the issue ? When I originally returned the vehicle they simply blew me off and acted like it wasn’t their problem any more and I just had an old transmission. Based on no other information than that it is a Nissan and that is common. Again Case closed. Very Lousy service.
My local Caliber was very friendly and professional. They kept me informed about the progress of my vehicle and explained the process that was needed to get me back on the road again. I would definitely recommend Caliber to my friends and family and will take my vehicle there for any repairs needed.
Everything was done fine but it took forever and communication was awful. For the first week nobody touched my car because their system said my insurance company denied my claim, they never communicated this to me, I only found out because I called to get an update on my car. I then had to call my claims adjuster and caliber, merge the calls together, and sit there for 30 minutes in order for it to get settled because my claim was in fact not denied. I then found out most of the fixes I needed were not going to be able to be done here because they don’t do mechanical repairs. When I first called and explained most of my repairs were mechanical the representative said NOTHING ABOUT THEM NOT BEING ABLE TO HANDLE THIS. All in all this took 4 days short of a month. They also set a pick up date, when this day came I called at 11 and asked if it would be ready they said “idk we will call you” I called again at 3 which once again “idk we will call you” and then at 4 and finally got someone who could just tell me I’d need to wait till Monday. Listen if it’s not ready it’s not ready I wasn’t mad about that part, but I didn’t have a rental car and was trying to organize a ride and the “idk” was pissing me right off because now I’m inconveniencing people around me because you can’t give me a straight answer. Do better with communication and if your a potential customer do yourself a favor and don’t drop it off here
Quick and easy repair job. They helped line up the rental car, had my car finished early, seamlessly worked with the driver who caused the accident’s insurance, etc. No complaints; If I need bodywork done on a car, Iwould definitely go there again
Caliber kept me informed of where my car was at in the repair process the entire time and it was even ready a day earlier than estimated. Not only was it good as new, but it was actually cleaner than when I dropped it off. I would definitely recommend them.
