Amazing workout and positive 1st Pilates experience. I thought the reformer class was relaxing but still felt a good burn. One thing, the studio is located inside The 9 which is a 4 star hotel. You should put that in your gps or The Centro the restaurant next door, otherwise your apple maps/google maps/uber will get messed up. The hotel is on the right side of E 9th. Go to B2 on the 2nd floor inside The 9. Aside from it being confusing to get there, 10/10. Studio is beautiful and was decorated for Christmas.
Visiting from out of town so tried a class out! Really pretty studio and every one was kind, but I was a little disappointed. There wasn't really any focus on breath work at all, and the room was so warm I truly thought we were doing heated pilates! At one point the instructor brought out a camera and ring light to get content which I understand the purpose of, but feel that during class the focus should be on our movements. All in all it's a great studio just not for me.
I’ve been going to Callie’s Pilates for years now, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best things I’ve done for myself. The studio is absolutely stunning - such a welcoming, empowering space. I love Brianna-the spicy girl who always keeps us challenged, and I love how much stronger I’ve become, especially in my core. It’s also helped me so much with my hypermobility. But what makes this place truly special is Callie herself — the way she’s building a community of women who lift each other up is beautiful. She’s so full of love, and being part of her small business feels meaningful beyond just my own fitness journey. I’m incredibly grateful for both Callie and Brianna and for the strength, confidence, and connection this studio has brought into my life ❤️
Callie’s is the absolute best!🤍 All of the classes I’ve taken have been so challenging and the instructors are all amazing at what they do. And the studios are both beautiful!
I have changed my review after Callie reached out to me personally because of my initial negative experience and review. While I did have a negative experience, I always want to support small businesses and I appreciate that Callie cared enough to reach out and rectify the situation. I was able to take another class and the instructor, Stephanie, was very welcoming, professional, and kind, and she led a wonderful class. I would give 0 stars if I could. I was excited to take class at Callie’s, and I moved my schedule around to take the 9am class. I walked in around 10 mins early and I couldn’t tell who the instructor was, surely not this person on her phone, lounging on the couch, chewing gum and not saying hello to the customer walking through the door? Oh wait, it was her. She informed me there was no 9am class because no one else had signed up (not my problem) but I could pay for a private if I wanted. In a class where the highest capacity is 5 people, this seemed ridiculous. I said no thank you and walked out. But my 60 second experience was extremely negative from the instructor’s nonchalant, unprofessional attitude and demeanor and zero sympathy to this ridiculous policy in a 5 person capacity class. I’m a fitness instructor, and I’ve taught many classes with 1 person. You shouldn’t have a class posted to your online schedule unless you intend to teach it. Save your precious time and go to a studio that respects your time and energy.
