CC has Amazing customer service. Always go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. Don't ever go to Geek Squad at Best Buy....total rip off.
These guys will let your credit card info get stolen. On top of various rude interactions from staff who you'd think were there to be condescending not helpful. I will never give you any money again. I have had nothing but good experiences with memory express and will continue shopping there. I would probably get out ahead of this credit card thing because when the news outlets pick it up you will have to provide answers as to how you allowed people's credit card info to be stolen
The store has some great stuff at good prices. Employees are knowledgeable, but when coming back to ask question about the laptop I bought here or even calling in, I’m generally met with a condescending response where the employees just seem bothered I’m even talking to them, especially at the service desk. Great store, but dont expect to feel comfortable asking any technical questions, as you'll likely get talked down to unfortunately.
On Thursday, January 8th we had to take in Richard's laptop to Canada Computers on Upper Wentworth Hamilton location. We met with Steve and he fixed the issue with the laptop in minutes. He knew exactly what the issue was. It sure made our day! We will be back here again. Also to mention, we're impressed with Steve's outstanding service and knowledge :-) Thanks so much again for your help, STEVE!
When I first built my PC 9 years ago, I sourced a lot of the parts from Canada computers. I remember the staff being really friendly and non-judgmental. This time however when it came to upgrading my system, almost completely overhauling it. I chose Canada computers again. I opted for an MSI pro z 890-s Wi-Fi motherboard with an Intel core ultra 7 265kf processor and Corsair ddr5 6000 MHz Ram because it was in a bundle for a good price, I saved $200. The reason I was upgrading is to play battlefield 6 at 4K ultra settings. I asked an employee about this bundle I was interested in and he was kind of cold to me, he seemed to know his his stuff though. He gathered all the parts together and then I asked him to help me find a cpu cooler. He was helpful in steering me away from a brand which he said has many problems. He then proceeded to point me towards a $500 cooler which I quickly denied because it's overkill, I said my CPU is only 70 watts tdp... any way I decided to go a MSI aio cooler. Then when I get to the cash and I'm ready to check out everything he asked me if the PC is for content creation or gaming? I said it's for gaming. Now I have thoroughly thought out this upgrade and I'm about to cash out, but now he tries to persuade me that I should go AMD instead. He told me I could get better performance from a different AMD CPU, he even searches for the one but it was $100 more then the one I was buying. That doesn't include all the other stuff I was buying with the bundle. So after I upgrade the system it seemed fine initially, even though I could not get XMP to work in my bios. Everything seemed pretty stable until I booted up battlefield 6 the next day, and I was getting very frequent crashes, I tried every all kinds of different configurations and I did get things to be a little bit more stable, I updated my graphics drivers again, motherboard drivers, played around with many settings, CPU everything. But I still got infrequent crashes and I could not change XMP or boost the processor using the Intel boost feature. Now I'm on Amazon, yes amazon. Looking for different Ram because I figure it's defective, and I notice on the box of ram I've purchased it says memory for AMD. Why was I sold RAM for AMD when I have purchased all Intel products?
