Had such a fun time at Canvas Studio for their 90s-themed paint-and-sip! It was a vibe — good music, great energy, and an instructor/owner who made painting easy and enjoyable. Perfect spot for a night out with friends(sister night) Can’t wait to go back for another theme night! 🎨🍷
I had such a great experience here! The vibes were super chill, Daphney was friendly, and the whole atmosphere felt really comfortable. Definitely recommend checking it out!
I had an amazing time painting at Canvas Studio and just being able to freely create. It’s such a welcoming environment and I can’t wait to come back.
10 out of 10 experience. The vibes were good, plenty of paint colors, pictures to choose and wine to drink lol. The music was great and I really enjoyed myself. I picked 2 small pics and got creative. I would recommend this to anyone girls night, date night or solo.
If someone asked me to describe this place in 10 seconds the first thing that would come to mind is that I literally felt like this place drew me in. And once I walked in I felt that warm vibe course through me as if I was cleaned somehow. I’m not a writer, so this is the best I can do to describe it. I literally stumbled on this place almost by accident, but to tell you the truth it’s very hard to miss it, because it literally glows. I shot this video (sorry I can’t post it here for some reason) last spring, and got busy with stuff and totally lost this video in thousands of other videos. I can draw a little but for me it was always a very personal thing. Almost like meditation, when you turn off all your thoughts (in a good way) And when you learn how to do this - amazing things happen. I don’t know how and why. But I know 100% that people solved very difficult problems in exactly the same way. When you forcefully try to find a solution to a difficult problem it almost never works, or you get results that are wrong. You just don’t know it yet. So instead of forcing the solution you can try to relax while your brain does all the hard work. Isn’t that awesome? If you truly master this skill - mental work will never feel like work ever again. I love playing this word game, Word Crossy, where you have a set of letters and you find words that you can make out of those 6-7 letters. Almost like a word puzzle but easier and with a twist. After playing awhile I usually start feeling a little stuck on one or two words, that just don’t come. When this happens I just leave the game until the next day. And amazingly, in 95% of the time I get the correct words almost immediately. Literally within 3-4 seconds after turning on the game, it feels like the correct answer literally jumps at me. It all happens after I let my brain get some rest. The funny thing is it feels like rest to us, but the brain keeps working, and sometimes even harder while we are sleeping. I guess this works in the same way. And although I said that drawing is something that is very personal to me, I still had one of my best friends in high school teach me the basics (he went to the painter school, and I always envied him in a good way. Of course it was not that all consuming black envy that eats at your brain cells. It’s more like - damn, I wish I could do that too, kind of way) So who knows, give it a shot and I guarantee you will learn something too.
