I came here over 20 years ago when I was a kid for a summer horse camp and had the best time. Now as an adult, I wanted to get some more formal riding and looked into if I could do that here and with Horsebound Riding with the amazing trainer, Jo, I was! This place has become a happy and safe space for me and I love coming here every other week ❤️ Highly recommend!

This facility has been under new management for a couple of months and it has been great! The team really make sure the horses are well cared for. My kids have been riding here for a couple of years with Amy from Horsebound. We can't say enough great things. This place is really special. Even the horses agree.

This place is truly a gem hidden within our community. I have been a boarder there since 2015. It is under new management with the new name Canyonside Equestrian Center as of February 24, 2023. The new interim manager is bringing such positive life into the facility and working diligently to make some fabulous improvements. The people there are absolutely amazing, and so wonderful to have as fellow boarders. The facility is directly connected to miles and miles of wonderful trails to ride. Highly, highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a boarding facility and/or riding lessons.

I boarded my horse here for a few years and I can only say good things. The facilities were well kept, the feeding was consistent, and most importantly there was always a pair of watchful eyes. The boarders were all very kind and friendly, and offered to help with taking care of my horse when I couldn’t. The manager, Amy, is one of the most responsible and friendly barn managers I have worked with. She is always seen out and about giving lessons and turning horses out. I love the arena and the trials nearby. I love this barn, I would come back if I ever move back to San Diego.
