Very grateful i found this business. I called many months ago after being told by a chain-business mechanic that I may need to replace my transmission as I had a clicking sound which I've never noticed. This business quoted me 7k - because Honda. I was in a panic because after 130,000kms, I knew it couldn't be right. The mechanic was so knowledgeable on the phone and put me at ease. I brought it in later that week, and it turns out it's just a completely normal sound that I've just never noticed before. Saved me so much stress knowing I wasn't in for a massive bill. I've since brought my car back for servicing and repairs and have always been greeted with a friendly face and consistent service! Thank you to Terry and the team for always taking such great care of my car, even if I do bring it back too often for the standard 12yo car things 🤣
I'm very happy with the customer service. The team managed to fix a long term problem and Terry was very communicative. They called me every time they needed my approval to repair something and let me know what the next steps were. Very happy with the whole service. I highly recommend them!!!
I can’t recommend Carrington Street Auto Repairs enough! They’ve been servicing my car for a while now, and I’m consistently impressed with their honesty, professionalism, and attention to detail. What sets them apart is their clear and straightforward advice and the fact that they never push unnecessary work. In fact, they’ve often told me when something doesn't need to be done or isn’t urgent and can wait until the next service, which builds a level of trust that’s hard to find these days. They genuinely go above and beyond, ensuring my car is running smoothly and safely without overcharging or upselling. It’s such a relief to have an auto shop I can rely on.
By far the best mechanic experience I’ve ever had and I’ve owned a number of cars over 25years driving. Very communicative, extremely informative, and reasonably priced. I’m not from Adelaide and only here for a month. I initially broke down and got it towed to them after I did a google search and they had good reviews. They ran tests and couldn’t find any issues. They gave the car back to me as I needed it and they thought it would be good to have updated diagnostics to see what the issue may be if something went wrong again. Unfortunately I broke down again. On this occasion they drove out to me to see if they could get the car going. However, I needed towing again. This time they were able to find the issue (a faulty fuel pump that was replaced less than a year ago by another mechanic). They replaced the part and the car is working fine now. They also did a follow up call a week later to see how the car was driving. I highly recommend Carrington st Autos. Thanks Sandra and the team.
