It was such a joy getting to work with Catalina Jean Photography at a recent wedding at Mt. Hood Organic Farms! From the very beginning, Catalina brought this calm, positive energy that made the day feel effortless and joyful. What stood out to me the most was how intentional she was—with her interactions, her attention to detail, and her camera. As a live artist, I really appreciate when a photographer understands the vendor experience, and Catalina totally got it. She made sure to capture me in action, which doesn’t always happen, and balanced those behind-the-scenes shots beautifully alongside her client-focused storytelling. Her editing style is just as thoughtful—warm, organic, and so true to the natural beauty of Mt. Hood and the day itself. I’m so grateful for the experience and truly hope we get to work together again soon. If you’re considering hiring her, do it!

Catalina is fantastic! She strikes the perfect balance between editorial and fine art, and she made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera on our wedding day. Some of my favorite memories from our wedding day were actually while taking photos with my now-husband, just the two of us with Catalina behind the lens. She created space for those quiet, magical moments to unfold naturally. She was also incredibly knowledgeable about our venue, easy to communicate with, and made the whole process feel seamless. Choosing a photographer for our wedding in October was such a big decision, as I knew the photos would be the one thing we continued to look back on throughout our lives. In exploring options, we came across Catalina Jean through a recommendation from our venue. I was immediately drawn into her style of editing and the true talent that came through her website and social media. Once I got to talk to her, I knew she was a great fit for us. She was incredibly kind, extremely helpful, offered guidance where needed, while also allowed us to share what was important for us day-of. My fiancé and I are definitely not comfortable being in front of a camera, but she made the day so relaxing and fun. I honestly didn't even think about feeling awkward at all! The photos turned out so much better than I could have expected, Catalina is 100% worth the investment!

We loved working with Catalina from the very beginning. She's totally spunky (in a great way), brings lots of energy, is super punctual, and has a super keen eye for making us look a-mazing. Aside from the photo shoot sessions throughout our wedding (which make awesome photos too), she's mostly like a fly on the wall or in a room so a lot of pictures feel candid which was exactly what we were looking for. She was able to really capture emotions, highlighting all the feels from our wedding. Plus, she was VERY dedicated to snapping the most amazing sunset photos which were SO worth it, esp. given the perfect weather and venue we were at. Catalina was truly one of my favorite vendors I worked with for my wedding in November 2022. First of all, she makes taking pictures SO MUCH FUN. My husband and I hate taking pictures and feel very awkward in front of the camera, but with her, she makes it feel so fun and effortless. She has the BEST artistic style and captures such beautiful moments in a natural way. She was also so flexible and easy to work with which is such a must for your wedding. She was extremely responsive and connected with me throughout the process to make sure she had all the details she needed to make the day smooth. She helped make the perfect timeline and keep things on schedule. We had a morning ceremony and evening reception, and she worked with me to make sure we could add in enough time to capture both events, and even stayed longer to get some additional pictures at the end of the night. I didn't want her to leave because she was just such a fun wedding guest, regardless of the pictures! I got so many compliments about her, not just about the actual pictures (though I got a ton of those, too), but also about how fun and cool she was throughout the day. She also photographed our engagement shoot and rehearsal dinner, which all turned out amazing. I cannot say enough good things about her and the beautiful pictures she gave us to remember our special day!
