We are beyond grateful for Caterman Catering and their absolutely incredible team. From start to finish, the experience was flawless — and so much of that is thanks to Carmen, who was an absolute dream to work with. He guided me every step of the way with patience, care, and true professionalism, and I felt completely supported throughout the entire process. The food was outstanding. Every bite was delicious, and the desserts were next-level. Our wedding cake became the talk of the town, and even at our post-wedding brunch, guests were still raving about the food. The short ribs were a huge hit — and what made it even more special was that everyone had a different favorite part of the meal and couldn’t stop talking about it 🍽️. The staff was warm, attentive, and truly went above and beyond. We felt so taken care of, and our guests did too. We are incredibly thankful for Caterman Catering and appreciate them more than words can say. Without a doubt, we will be using them for all of our future events. They helped make our wedding unforgettable.
The food itself was good, but unfortunately the logistics and communication were extremely disappointing. During the planning process, one of my colleagues took over the coordination. However, Caterman repeatedly ignored including my colleague in the email threads, despite multiple attempts to loop them in. I ended up acting as an unnecessary “middleman” until I finally made a phone call—only then did they start including my colleague in the communication. On the event day, we had clearly provided the phone number of the colleague who would be responsible for picking them up, as I was in meetings and unavailable. Despite this, Caterman continued calling me during the event, forcing me to stop my presentation to respond. These communication issues directly caused delays. The food display was not ready even after the event had already started, and we had to help arrange the food together with the catering staff. Because of the rush and delay, food description cards were not placed properly. As a result, several colleagues with dietary restrictions were unable to eat because they couldn’t identify the ingredients. While the food quality was good, the poor coordination, lack of clear communication, and event-day execution made this a very frustrating experience. I would only recommend them if significant improvements are made in their logistics and communication process.
Carmen was a Godsend. He helped me bring my vision for my mom's birthday to life without compromising quality or quantity. The food was delicious, with generous portions, and his guidance and care made the entire process seamless. I am so grateful for his exceptional service and attention to detail.
Our charcuterie box was nothing less than perfect! It was filled with so many savory delectables, we had more than enough food. I can't wait to try them again.
Fantastic food and exemplary service! My clients were looking for a full service caterer for their wedding in the South Bay. We went with Caterman due to its wide menu selection and affordable pricing. Carmen responded to my numerous emails, questions, and made multiple adjustments to the invoice before we booked their services. Shoutout to Caterman for going above and beyond: - The dinner menu contained a few dishes with onions. 1 guest was allergic, so Caterman prepared 1 plate without onions. - Even though my client picked the buffet package that only includes 1 entree, Caterman allowed us to pick 1 meat and 1 vegetarian entree. - Caterman's team was pleasant to work with! They followed the timeline perfectly. - We ordered cupcakes and Caterman provided a pretty display. Thank you, Carmen and Caterman!
