Enjoyed immensely!! Everything about this tour was good, great, fantastic. My positive comments: - Very easy reserving a spot for this free tour online - An email reminder a few days before (although I was so excited I didn't need one) - Easy parking just outside the entry door - Amazing tour guide!!! He was knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and a great rep for the Knox family, AKG, the Cellino family, and the City of Buffalo. - Fantastic mansion in it's design, construction, decor, function, and includes some original furnishings. I truly felt like I was an invited guest of the Knox family. - Length of the tour was great, I never felt rushed. - I am grateful that this mansion and the tour is an option for all the public to experience. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Knox for this wonderful home in Buffalo and your contributions to our City and Western New York. Thank you Cellino Law and family for allowing me to visit and providing the tour.

"Keep Buffalo a Secret...and the Knox Mansion Tour!". Dr. Michael Cellino (brother of Ross, lawyer/mansion owner) gave our amazing complimentary 1.5 hour tour on a Sat morning as he brought you back in time with his wealth of knowledge and true passion for Buffalo history preservation. The mansion currently is mixed use space that is shared with the law firm but that didn't distract from the beauty and craftsmanship of the architecture. Honestly, the Cellino family using it today brings warmth and life into the home. They only take so many guests (15) on Sat & Sunday 10 am morning tours only, so you must preregister via the law firms website and they only book out 2 months in advance. There is a online wait list form, but I didn't use that. Tips: Arrive a few minutes before the tour to look around and take in the details of the 1st floor as other tour guests arrive. It is mostly standing/walking and you do walk up/down stairs. Restrooms are available, which are best to use before the tour starts so you don't miss out on anything during the tour. They don't recommend for child under 12, which I agree with as a youngster on our tour was behaved but did get tired. *Suggestion - I do hope a professional film crew films Dr. Cellino giving this mansion tour. He really is a Buffalo gem and was just fantastic! Thank you to the Cellino family.
