Our two kids, aged 8 and 10, have attended a few classes at Celsius and Beyond, ranging from the Top Chef winter camp to the Surgery summer camp. They've found these camps fun, educational and stimulating. For example, for Surgery, my son learnt a great deal about physiology; plated a "fractured" femur; and dissected a frog and a heart. The instructors were bona fide scientists as well (med school and pre-med students). In conversing with Auritte, the owner of Celsius, I found a kindred spirit impassioned by science and by teaching cutting-edge science and other skills to kids in a systematic and engaging way. Highly recommended for a warm and friendly environment and educational content that truly makes a difference!

I'm so grateful that Celsius and Beyond exists! I haven't found a better program for my middle schooler to explore his interest in science—both during summer break and after school. What I appreciate most is that they get a chance to do REAL science. This summer, my 11-year-old had the chance to use a centrifuge, a PCR machine, and even practice electrophoresis at his genetics summer camp. I highly recommend!

This is our second summer with Celsius and Beyond, and our son, who is now 7, has loved every minute of his experience in engineering and oceanography. Every day, he comes home excited, sharing fun facts about what he has learned. The activities are hands-on and appropriately challenging, making them engaging without being overly simplified. We can’t wait until he is old enough for more advanced sessions, like surgery! Celsius and Beyond is a gem in San Francisco and has become our go-to summer camp for our budding scientist.

My nine year old just finished wood-working camp. He's also done sewing camp and cooking camp with Celsius and Beyond. He loved all of them. The staff are friendly and competent. I highly recommend.

ok this camp is on the pricier side but honestly such a good value!! My lil guy learned to sew on a sewing machine and he only just finished first grade! He's literally never been so proud of himself, we'll definitely try some of their other options next summer, can't wait!
