My lovely neighbours/friends treated me to an afternoon at Chaberton, last Sunday. We were warmly greeted and enjoyed an informative sampling of available wines. The following lunch experience was absolute perfection! The food was marvelous and I loved how well we were taken care of. Thank you!

Chaberton Estate Winery in South Langley is a fantastic destination for wine lovers and anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing day surrounded by beautiful vineyard views. Just 45 minutes from Vancouver, it offers a peaceful setting that feels far removed from the city, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The tasting room is cozy and well-run, with knowledgeable and friendly staff who clearly take pride in their wines. They walk you through the tasting experience with helpful details and personal recommendations, making the visit both informative and enjoyable. One wine that truly stood out to me was the Bacchus—a white wine that is absolutely amazing. It's crisp, aromatic, and perfectly balanced, with refreshing notes of citrus and floral hints. It's light yet flavourful, and an ideal choice for warm afternoons or pairing with fresh, summery dishes. I would come back for the Bacchus alone! In addition to the excellent wines, the on-site Bacchus Bistro offers a delicious French-inspired menu using fresh, local ingredients. The food is thoughtfully prepared and pairs beautifully with their wine selection. Dining on the patio overlooking the vineyard adds an extra layer of charm to the experience. For something more casual, there's also a lovely picnic area where you can enjoy a bottle or tasting flight outdoors. All in all, Chaberton Estate Winery offers a perfect mix of high-quality wine, outstanding service, and a beautiful setting. It’s a must-visit spot in the Fraser Valley, and one I’d happily return to. Highly recommended!
This is a hidden gem right across the US border. We went for lunch at the Bistro and I would rate the food and service a 9 out of 10. One of the best Caesar salads and tomato soups we’ve ever had. The pork rack was juicy and tender! Also the house white wine was so good we bought 2 bottles. The gift shop had really cool stuff also.
We had a great dinner at Chaberton Estate Winery with Judy and Chef Ashley. Judy took excellent care of us, steering us towards the best items on the menu and wine list, which turned out the be all of them…true to Judy’s advice. Thanks to the team at Chaberton, we plan to hit the wine shop and load up for the ride back to the NShore.
