*This 5 stars is for Robbie and Robbie only!!* I had an appointment scheduled with Robbie for a pretty drastic hair change — I wanted to go blonde. I naturally have dark brown hair and had seen him previously, where he gave me beautiful blonde highlights. Unfortunately, he wasn’t available this time, so I decided to see another stylist for my blonde transformation. After assuring me that my request would be “pretty simple,” this stylist proceeded to give me one of the worst highlight jobs I’ve ever seen or received. I was honestly devastated by the result. I reached out to Robbie afterward to ask what my options were, and I was met with the most patient, supportive, and thoughtful responses. He took time to research the best solution, walked me through the correction process step by step, and supported me throughout — even though it was a mistake he did not make. This is truly above-and-beyond service. Not only do I know Robbie does beautiful work with color, but I now know how deeply he cares about his clients both in and out of his chair. He is a true gem, and I can’t recommend him highly enough.
Very impressed with the salon and the professionalism of their approach. I was scheduled with a newer stylist, and it took a bit of support and a bit more time than we had agreed upon and another senior stylist, and the owner both jumped right into help and made sure that I was very well taken care of. I appreciate that they foster a learning environment while also ensuring that the customer is taken care of. I highly recommend Mary and will be booking with her in the future. It’s refreshing to see a business run so well! Thank you! 🙏
Nice, relaxed Salon with tasteful decor, and refreshments. My hairstylist, Ivy, was terrific And did a great job of rescuing my hair from a previous horrible cut gotten elsewhere.
I've been coming here for over a year now. Normally, Robbie cuts and colors my hair. Robbie always does an amazing job, plus he's the sweetest person ever. However, for my recent visit, I needed a last minute coloring done before my business trip. Since Robbie was booked, he got me in with one of Chakra's young proteges, Samantha. She did a wonderful job, and I really enjoyed fun, great conversation with her, too. I truly appreciate the team environment at Chakra. Robbie assisted in the color consultation with myself and Samantha before we started. Then, throughout the process, Samantha would ask Robbie or Ivy to double check her work to make sure she was on the right track. Other than a minor tip from them, here or there, she was always spot on. My color came out perfect. The team/family camaraderie at Chakra is a beautiful thing to witness. I love this place! I'd never go anywhere else.
I was grateful to get an appointment here on short notice for a long overdue haircut. Amanda was my stylist and she did a great job. I went with a different cut that was a big change for me, and Amanda took the time to patiently identify and address my concerns. I left feeling awesome about my new style. Thank you so much Amanda and Chakra!
