Chateau Meichtry was absolutely stunning! The vineyard is beautifully maintained with incredible mountain views and the most peaceful atmosphere. The landscaping and outdoor spaces are immaculate — the perfect setting to enjoy a glass of wine and take in the scenery. The wine selection was fantastic, and every pour we tried was delicious. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience even better with their hospitality. This vineyard truly stands out as one of the best in the Blue Ridge area — we can’t wait to visit again!

This is a beautiful winery. The tasting room is cozy and beautifully decorated. The wine was excellent. We did a wine tasting and our server was knowledgeable and personable. The grounds are also beautiful. The Highland Coos (cows) are a great attraction for the kids and the young at heart. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Beautiful family-owned winery with an Italian design to it. Plenty of seating inside, on the covered porch, or outdoors (with umbrella’s). They sell a few packaged food items, like cheese and prosciutto, as well as soda cans and water bottles and coffee. Since they don’t have a kitchen to serve food, you’re allowed to bring your own. They’ll always have a food truck on site too, that rotates each day. Fireplaces can be found indoors to keep you warm in the winter months, along with mulled wine ;) Live music on weekends. Two highland cows you can walk up to. The family dog (black lab) wanders around freely, Shooter Ray. He’ll be waiting for you to share a bite :) Dogs are allowed as long as they’re well-behaved. Favorite red: Lineage Favorite white: Viogner You can help them harvest the grapes towards the end of Sept, early October. They have two villas on the property you can rent. They’re gorgeous. Feels like a cozy, upscale home. Great getaway for a family. Each villa has two bedrooms, fire place, full kitchen, dining room, outdoor patio with seating and another fireplace.

Quickly turned into my favorite winery and vineyard up 575. Logan (Jimothy) and Hannah behind the tasting bar made the tastings a lot of fun. Haven't had a wine that I haven't liked there yet. Great patio and outdoor area too.

Absolutely beautiful winery with a variety of wines - a lot of good dry wines. Stunning scenery with any type of place you could want to sit. Indoors, outdoors, covered, sun, picnic tables, you name it. And, it's pet friendly!!!! Allie is amazing. She can recommend a variety of options for your taste.
