Top notch catering service & market with great food and exceptional staff! Chef Kurt Peter and his crew do an amazing job at providing culinary delights with professional service! The food is delicious and exciting. The new market and “Smokey Mozz” brick oven pizza truck are an great addition to the island providing brick oven pizzas, grab & go meals and gourmet deli sandwiches on a daily.
I recently had the pleasure of working with Chesapeake Chef Service. Chef Austin and Mike came to my home to provide a chef's table for my 40th birthday. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They provided exceptional service and delivered a culinary experience my friends and I will never forget. The food was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and delicious. From the appetizers to the dessert, each course was wonderfully executed. My friends are still raving about the food and great time we had. But beyond the food itself, the team at Chesapeake Chef Service went above and beyond to make sure that every detail of the evening was taken care of. They took time to work on the menu to make sure it met all our needs and wants. They arrived early to set up and prepare. They were professional, courteous, and amicable throughout the evening. By the time we finished desert, the entire kitchen was clean, cookware washed, and the dishwasher running. There was no cleanup at all. It was all handled by Austin and Mike. Chesapeake Chef Service made my 40th birthday everything I could have hoped for. If you're looking for someone to help you create a unforgettable culinary experience, look no further.
Can’t rate or recommend Kurt and Chesapeake Chefs highly enough. They designed and created beautiful, delicious and well served cuisine for our recent fall wedding on the Shore. Over the top appreciation from our guests, too, most of whom didn’t even notice that almost all of the offerings were gluten-free (including crostini)! Cocktails and wine service, passed hors d’oeuvres, a fully loaded raw bar, elegant dinner platings with three options, and an after-party with the makings of the best s’mores the bride and groom had ever tasted!
What an amazing experience we had with chef Austin! We had a private dinner with family for my husband’s 40th birthday and wow!!! we were beyond pleased!! The food was outstanding they turn my home into such fun , relaxing place where we could just sit back ,talk ,enjoy each other’s company while listening to jazz and trying allllllllllll the delicious food he made! And he was very professional while being fun to talk to AND he let come in the kitchen many times to just watch him work his magic and didn’t mind at all! Haha oh did I mention they cleaned everything up and left my kitchen spotless! Yes! Chesapeake Chef Service was lovely, they were quick to email us back willing to work with us to find the perfect time date for our dinner and answered all my questions! We highly recommend them!
I’m a project manager/event planner by day and I’ve done everything from corporate team building meetings to black tie galas. So I’ve worked with a lot of catering companies over the last 25+ years. I chose Chesapeake Chef for my husband’s company dinner because I wanted something new and fresh. They delivered in a big way! The food was so on-point! Chef Austin was incredible and Amanda did an amazing job of keeping our guests happy. It’s such a treat to be able to host friends and family (or colleagues) in your home and not have to worry about the cooking. Or CLEANUP! I would not hesitate to recommend Chesapeake Chefs and I can’t wait to use them again!
