Tony was great. He installed a banister on our rear stairwell into solid timber. This replaced the one that had been only anchored into drywall. His repair to the damaged drywall was quite thorough, and he even cleaned up the dust. He then installed a vanity cabinet over our bathroom sink, exactly as asked. The man clearly knew what he was doing, and the cost was more than reasonable. I recommend this business.
Tony and Thomas were awesome. I had an old building with old locks and electrical set up. I know nothing about it. And they educated me on the challenges, and options to get to the end goal. Very happy with their service and appreciated their expertise to bring me solutions and not problems :). Was very helpful to get my unit turned for my new tenants while I travel working my own job. Very beneficial and dependable.
We’ve used Chicago Handyman services twice now, once to have the cranks fixed on some old windows and once for a larger project to finish a bathroom remodel we started. Both experiences were phenomenal. Tony (windows) and Jimmy (bathroom) were very professional and knowledgeable. The estimates for the work were fair, detailed and generally accurate and both handymen arrived on time or early. Everything is handled online or by text which made scheduling and paying very quick and easy. Definitely will be our go-to going forward for home improvement needs!
My bath wall exhaust fan stopped working (pictured) and I was not sure what type of replacement fan to get, especially given the size and shape of the existing hole. Vincent checked out the situation and suggested replacing the motor of the fan so as to avoid having to cut a different size hole on the wood panel, and also because the blades and housing all look fine. He took out the unit with the motor and fan blades and ordered the replacement part, came back upon receiving it and installed the new motor. It was a smart decision that saved me money and avoided quite a bit of hassle!
Tony at Chicago Handyman was fantastic! He was friendly, professional, and did top-quality work. He patched two large drywall holes seamlessly, sanded, and painted everything to perfection. He also replaced caulk beads in our kitchen and primary bathroom, leaving everything looking brand new. Fast, efficient, and detail-oriented—Tony exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend and will definitely use his services again!
